They fit perfectly and the elastic straps are also pretty comfortable around the ear area. I’ll be buying more of these for sure because now I want more patterns!” – Taylor, Hip Sidekick

The Old Navy kids masks are the best!!! My daughter (9) has been complaining about wearing masks for months. We finally got our Old Navy masks the other day and when we tried them out today she said these are great and didn’t complain once!

I have purchased a bunch of different masks from several stores and the Old Navy and Gap masks are my favorites by far. And they have cute designs too!

Just bought some last week for our family of 9. They are much more breathable than the disposable kind! Good buy for a family!

I love these masks. If you want a wire nose piece, you can buy them on Amazon and attach them to the mask – they are stick on. You can probably sew them on. My only complaint is the youth pink pattern packs that I bought for my daughter have tags on the side that touches the face that say “One Size”… Ordered 2 of the blue varieties in youth and the adults in pinks and blue varieties and both were tagless.

    • SamShops

Can you cut the tag off or use a seam ripper to remove it?

      • Danielle

Yes you can cut it, but it leaves a little bit. The tags are soft at least! I dont think its possible to seamrip it without affecting the integrity of the mask .

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the tips and suggestions, Danielle!

  2. Helina

These are available for pre-order they’re sold out

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! I still find options available as I click through now! Hoping you can snag them!

  3. Allison

All of the stores in my area are sold out and I don’t want to pay shipping.

    • Lel

I went to my store and asked them to order it for me. Free shipping when ordered from store.

  4. Miriam

Does anyone know if these have a filter pocket?

    • Danielle

No filter pocket. They are nice quality 3 layers of cotton. For a full day of work or school, I think they will be fabulous. The ear loops are fantastic.

      • snezhinka

You’re supposed to change masks every time you take one off, like lunch time for example. stay safe.

  5. Alison

Have lots of these and love them! They are so comfortable, and machine wash well. My husband and I have started going back to work so I got a pack for each of us (one for every day, and wash them with our clothes). I also grabbed a pack for each of my kids!

Just bought a bunch and earned $20 Super Cash – if you can use it and want to trade for something, email me 🙂 singinghope at yahoo

Shipping is a killer. Old navy is a bit far from me.

  8. Ryan

After reading all the facebook comments of people waiting months on shipping and not getting the colors they wanted i was hesitant. I ordered for pick up local and they ended up out of stock so they sent me a free shipping code. I ordered online Saturday afternoon and they arrived tuesday! I ordered the cheetah/camo pack and got exactly what was pictured. Love them!

Walmart’s had kids 3 packs and adult 2 packs for just under $5

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up on your find!

    • 5pink1blue

Found these yesterday. The Walmart ones are so soft and fit my son perfectly.

  10. Melissa

I ordered early on, and have been waiting for them to ship all this time. It was supposed to finally ship July 17, 2 days ago I got the cancellation notice. 🙁 I ordered a new set from gap, they have the wire in them. They are more expensive 3 for $15 and I already got a shipping notice.

  11. Laura Brady

Old Navy just needs to make more because their fabric is so soft. If they can’t make them fast enough, can they just sell me some of their fabric?

  12. perfectlyoutgrown

I have them, but I prefer the Adidas ones over these. These rise up into my eyes and don’t bend over the nose. I’m going to try them with metal nose clips in hopes of them being more comfortable.

  13. Sheri

Honestly I don’t see how they are triple layer. Mine have three pleats if that is what you mean by 3 layers. I thought it was 3 layers of fabric. If we are wearing them to protect ourselves and others, these do not seem to protect anything. I like the Target ones that have a pocket for a filter. If filters become too expensive you can get the blue shop towels and place it folded in the pocket for more protection. The Old Navy ones are just like wearing a blouse to cover your mouth. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew what they are getting. They may be breathable but probably not good for real protection. But you can get into the stores with these!

    • MrsA

I thought the same about these masks not being triple layer since the front of the mask shows the “pretty side” of the fabric and the back shows the “wrong” side, making it appear to be one layer of fabric. If you rub your fingers between the front and back, you can actually feel the different layers separate. Hope this helps.

  14. Shubam

I received 3 out of 5 triple layered and 2 were made of single layer.

    • Sheri

Yeah like in my earlier post, mine are all single layer. I did rub my finger like the other poster stated and nope it is one layer and I ordered 7 different packs. I have over 35 of their masks for my family and I do not feel protected. The children ones are also single layer.

  15. Theresa

I have Super Cash to use. Regarding their fine print “Excluded from Promotion”, do you guys think this applies to Super Cash? Or just the discount on the website?

    • Cbb

These face masks are excluded from promo codes but they do work with Super Cash. The last time I ordered 2 pack face masks I was able to use my $10 super cash with free shipping. Which makes for great deal!

  16. Loudflower

I ordered in store on Friday which saved the shipping charges. Masks arrived today.

  17. Janet Richards

I was so disappointed, after waiting forever to get them, my packs were both the same, WHITE! That was my last time ordering from Old Navy!

    • Melissa

What about tie-dying them? When I thought I was going to receive them, I had read many people were just getting plain white, so I thought that might be fun. Just a thought. 🙂

    • Lel

I feek like they would have to honor a refund if they did not ship you what you ordered.

  18. Kay

    Are masks still a thing?

    • Cbb

Yes coz until now more people are getting infected and so they’re required nationwide to wear out to groceries, restaurants and in public

      • Chrissy

Oh well I’m not wearing one. It gives me anxiety.

        • j

That’s fine! Stay home, there’s lots of delivery services available now!

        • Erin mi

          Poor thing🙄

    • Sheri

Our mask order goes until Aug 26!

      • julebay

At least you have an end date for masks. No end date in PA!

I’m developing Yoda ears from attaching masks to my ears. I’m serious.. I bought some Goody Headbands and use them to switch out part of the pre-attached mask’s ear bands. I detach the top portion of the ear band from the fabric. I leave the bottom attached. I then cut the Goody bands at the place where the Goody band is glued/heat sealed together during manufacture. You can feel around the band til you feel the hard glue like area. That’s where I make the cut. I hand sew one end of the Goody band to the left top side of cloth mask. I then hand sew the other end of the Goody mask to the right top side of the cloth mask. It allows me to slip the band around my head and it holds good. No strain on my ears. I then tie the bottom of the mask around the back of my head just below my ears. Depending on how much give/stretch there is from the original ear band, I may add a ribbon to the bottom of the mask’s original ear band to have a more comfortable fit along the lower head/neck area. I tied one when there wasn’t much stretch. Had a terrible time trying to get it loose. Lesson learned from that point.
The Goody band keeps the mask firmly on place. No slipping off the ears or ear irritation. And a 6 count pack cost me just $2.48 at Walmart. On Brickseek it is listed at Walmart under UPC code: 041457303634

    • Alicia

I have bought headband from lilac market but site closed till Friday. Google EAR-SAVER COMFY HOOK HEADBAND so you see what they look like

    • snezhinka

I use the scunci elastic bands too, the soft ponytailer type. NO size fits all, you have to make adjustments.

    • Lel

I bought clear bra straps from dollar store and use it to hook on ear loops so that I can wear mask around my head. Its the easiest cheapest fix.

  20. Tonya

Can anyone tell me where these are made?

    • Renata

The first thing I look on masks is where they are coming from, and interestingly enough Old Navy only states “Imported”… ha! There are a lot of masks being made in the USA and I would prioritize that. it’s a way to make the best of this situation while supporting our economy where most of them are no more than $12 per pair anyways. I found The Sublimation House (website) that are so comfortable and in every size (hard to find extra large) to be the best fitting ones (made in Cali btw).

      • Tonya

Thank you so much…I will check out The Sublimation House! We are overseas and have been wearing masks since February, but I need to invest in some new ones. So many places are now tagging with “imported” now.

  21. mona

Does this protect you from covid?

  22. Christine

Does anyone know how to wear, which side does the tag go on right or left?
