China masks, again.
nearly all PPE in the united states is manufactured in China as our 90% of the products around your home including the materials your home is made of. All the rich old white men in the United States figured out at the end of the 80’s, beginning of the 90’s that sending all of our manufacturing jobs overseas, and then having the products imported, made their companies billions. It’s incredibly difficult as a consumer to purchase USA made products, because we do very little manufacturing here, and when we do, it’s at a premium price.
You are correct about the majority of our PPE and other items coming from China however, I feel like it is a cycle that should be broken. If we all purchased items made in the US then we would open up a whole new world of jobs for us and in turn the prices would not be premium. We all just need to work together to help each other and keep the BILLIONS from going overseas. We ALL would see the benefits eventually from this. If we keep giving China our money then the demand for USA products isn’t there then we will continue this not stop cycle. How can some people not see that?
Then go find mask made in USA
I won’t buy them either so have bought homemade ones from local makers. I throw them in the wash and they come out great. Bonus I’m not putting any in the landfill.
