I’m sorry. I was at Chipotle last night, and a guy was doing Door Dash for a customer. First of all, his red bag was filthy, second, he kept standing next to us (not allowing us 6 feet distance). People order Door Dash to feel secure, so they don’t have to go out. I work in the food industry, and this lack of care of other people’s food is appalling to me.
Don’t judge one over all … I take good care of people’s good when I deliver! There should be a system to report this though!!
I’m sure you can let Doordash know and they’d be glad for the feedback. And most importantly – I don’t use Doordash to feel secure, I use it because it’s convenient af! After a 6-8pm sports practice I can have supper hot at our door 10 minutes after we get home. Heck yes!! And, of course, we have no more control over a dasher’s hygiene than that of those restaurant employees’ preparing the food.
