Reserve your FREE spot at a Walmart Drive-In near you!

Walmart is offering Drive-In Movies at select locations starting August 14th and going through October 21st! As we posted previously, Walmart has partnered with Tribeca Entertainment to convert 160 of their parking lots to contactless drive-in movie theaters!

Starting today, consumers can sign up to reserve a parking space for a FREE viewing at TheWalmartDriveIn.com. There are a total of 160 stores that will be participating with over 320 movie showings. Each store has a limited amount of parking places, so hurry and reserve your spot now!

Here are all the important details…

  • Go HERE and fill out the short form to reserve your FREE ticket (one ticket per car).
  • Tickets are available online ONLY on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Note that you’ll need to have access to a FM radio to hear the movie – car radio works great!
  • Guests are asked to stay in their vehicle, and masks are required when not in your vehicle.
  • No alcohol allowed.

There are so many good movies planned including “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Black Panther”, as well as animated movies like “Cars” and “The Iron Giant.” Load the family into the car, grab some snacks using Walmart’s Curbside Pickup services, and have fun!

    • Tracy

There are quite a few in the Midwest and I almost didn’t bother to look because of this post so glad I did.

    • EM

Maybe should just say your state? There are definitely some in the Midwest region

    • CA

Taking place in Missouri, but no tickets available.

    None in California

  4. whatacutielife

    Not in my area. ๐Ÿ˜•

  5. Dana

A lot of places around us but almost everything out of tickets already! Managed to get one though, and it’s near my daughter’s 18th bday AND a movie she loves! Didn’t find a kid movie to take the younger ones to though.

  6. Kenzo

Don’t bother…nothing in the east coast or southeast at all.

  7. Kayla

My city is on the list! Iโ€™m excited! Hopefully it will be a fun event.

    • Kathia

  12. RMS

I checked several cities near me and my college kids. None have tickets available. They must have gone really quickly!

I can’t imagine doing this here in Florida. It says cars must be turned off. No a/c in September in Florida? I’ll have my husband take them……

    • M

Lol right. Sitting in a hot car that long will get dizzy and nauseous and possible heat exhaustion.

  14. joni

    nothing in ny nj ct

    • Monique

The only one in Nevada is Carson city ๐Ÿ™

  15. Jw206

Three in my area and one 10 minutes away but not until October. The parking lot is a legit nightmare so I can see this being a headache. Cute, but Iโ€™ll pass. I have no doubt it will fill up though!

  16. NikkiLLM5

Tupelo, MS is actually doing 2 nights but both are already sold out. ๐Ÿ˜ข

  17. Amy

Bummer none near here. We have Drive ins here so itโ€™s not that disappointing but free is nice!

  18. kate-1

Honestly it sounds like more of a fiasco than it’s worth. We went in on a projector w/3 neighbors & have been doing (prob illegal) movies in the yard this summer.

  19. youhadmeatyummy

Anyone know if these will have on screen captioning die the deaf and hard of hearing community members?

  20. Evie

It is like parties. Many will use as an excuse to pile others in a car. Really not worth it! Very hot in PA. Would rather stay home and watch movies there! Not many good ones any more!
Out of free tickets? Free is the key, none will be willing to pay!

  21. Steph

    None in Florida ๐Ÿ˜ž

  22. Yazzay

Nothing available in the northern VA area, but I have family in the Nashville, TN area and several options came up there. ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. Erin

We have one really nice Walmart where they could do this but nope! They’re having it at the crowded, trafficky, ghettoey one. Oh well. Sitting in a Walmart parking lot watching bad movies doesn’t really sound fun anyway.
