I’ve been told the theory is the show appeals more to the Generation X and younger and that Baby Boomers don’t find it the least bit entertaining. Maybe it has something to do with the show coming out in the 90’s and that the people who loved it so much then where around the same age group as the actors. The kids who watch it now and like it mostly like it because they find the cast very attractive and show very colorful but they don’t find some of the humor as funny as gen x because they weren’t around at the time it was shot so some of the inside jokes go over their head. I’m from Gen X and there are a lot of shows that I am not a huge fan of but Gen Z love.
