I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy a pressure cooker. It is fast and efficient. It is now what I use to do all my cooking in. You can cook just about anything with it. Love it!
This purchase was so worth the buy. After doing my research I discovered the Crock-Pot Pressure cooker was just as good as the Instant Pot, if not better. I’ve been cooking dishes that would normally take hours in just 1hr. I have no regrets!!
The Crock-Pot has multiple options, you can use it as a slow cooker, pressure cooker and it also has several predefined options that are easy to use. I’ve cooked a Mexican barbacoa dish and some other things like rice, beans, pork, etc, and everything gets cooked to perfection and the dishes are so tender and yummy.
Does anyone own this as well as an instant pot? I’m wondering how well this version compares to the instant pot.
I have the instant pot at home and the crockpot version at the camper. Used the crockpot for the first time to make a roast that I’ve made many times with the instant pot. There was no difference. It was equally good and easy to use. Food was delicious.
Evy: thank you!! I’m reaaaalllly tempted to get this one, as I have been wanting a second one…
I’m not sure about this one, but I purchased the last instant pot pressure cooker deal and it’s the best purchase I’ve made in awhile… I use it everyday and love it!
Sadly, I might have to purchase this because my 2 year old Instant Pot releases steam and won’t count down. I have replaced the seal and valve, and it’s clean as can be. If anyone else has overcome this problem, please comment. 🙂
MeRiv: I would contact their customer service. They were really helpful with an issue I had with mine.
Can anyone comment about the size? I feed up to 5 people. However not sure how much I’ll use it. It’s such a low price I was thinking of getting it. But if its tiny & meant for cooking for 2 then I’d pass. Thanks!!!
This size is good for 3 – 4 people. I’d get the 8 quart to feed five, Susan S.!
Thanks I went ahead & ordered it. At that price it is a great addition to my kitchen!!!
I still think you will enjoy it!
