      Thanks! I added that, BelleM!

Sansevieria (snake plants) are also toxic to cats and dogs, though many people do keep them with the pets. Many friends and I have cats and snake plants

Thanks for advice on safety to pets. We have a puppy and didn’t consider that. What plants do you recommend for air purifying and safe for dogs? Aloe?

Virtually all house plants that stores sell are toxic to dogs! We also have a new puppy (5 mos old now) so I gave our beautiful and lush toxic houseplants away…better safe than sorry, right? Then I found out that most of our landscaping plants (maybe all of them?) are also toxic! It was stressful for a while – our puppy chewed on lots of the plants outside!!! It turns out that isn’t isn’t very dangerous unless the plants are ingested…I found that puppies chew, but rarely swallow stuff they find. Luckily that is the case with us – I’m sure each dog is different tho…I did put a potted sugar snap pea plant inside for some green/air purification – didn’t last long 😉 The puppy seemed to know? that plant was safe and ate it right up. Even tomato plants (and tomatoes if they are green) are toxic to dogs! Good luck!

What location? I could not find them in Naperville, IL Costco.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

We found these in Reno, Nevada.

These fiddle leaf figs are a little tricky to take care of so make sure to do your care research to keep yours happy.
