Just bought 2 things of quinoa for the small business $10 off. Note you do have to go back and claim your $10. What a great deal!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

    • Kelsey

      How do you claim it?

      • Emily

Amazon sends you an email you have to click thru to activate. Then you get a confirmation email that’s it’s activated.

  2. Dawn

I bought some $13 Grade B vanilla beans to make vanilla extract, then claimed the $10 credit. It makes great Christmas gifts!

  3. Angelica

How do you claim the credit. Does it send something to your email

    • wcracing

Yes, you will get an email after you place your order.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful comment! Much appreciated!

  4. Sara

How many times can you purchase something and get the ten dollar credit? Just once? I see two things I’d like to order that qualify, thanks!

    • Jennifer Lisa

The terms and conditions state the offer is limited to one.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Sara! The offer is limited to one per customer and account. Hope this helps!

  5. jana

I bought some vanilla beans for $12.99 and I already have my $10 credit waiting for prime day!

    • Crystal W.

Info/link? I’d love to buy some too! Thanks

      • mary

i found stavoren trading co. (sm. business) 6 lg. grade a madagascar vanilla beans for 17.99. been wanting to make vanilla.

  6. Jennifer Lisa

Kids+ is great, especially during these times with working at home.

  7. nupurguj

Does kids+ offer stack with already paid 12 month subscription? Thanks in advance.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! Here are the details listed on that – “Offer is available for new subscribers to Amazon Kids+ (formerly FreeTime Unlimited) or customers with an active subscription to the Monthly Single Child Plan or Monthly Family Plan. Existing customers with prepaid subscriptions are not eligible.”

      Hope this helps!

      • Marlene

I did this and they refunded what I had paid and charged the 99 cents. I was on a monthly plan though.

  8. Sushi

I’ve never shopped amazon small business, but bought a nice kitchen towel for my mother!! Thx for the post!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      How sweet! You’re welcome, Sushi!

  9. Las6ink

How long after you placed an order did you get that $10 confirming credit email?

    • Las6ink

Nevermind- the email came. There’s a great men’s gift idea in the homemade section. It’s a leather bracelet with a personalized engraving charm message. I chose the longitude and latitude on where we were married. $19.50 for this lovely gift is a great deal!

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That is such a cool gift idea!

      • CeacyM

Would you please share the product info with me?

  10. Tammy

So I’m probably the last person on earth who doesn’t have Prime yet, but I’ve been wanting to get it. I’m unsure how it works – if I get the free 30 day trial, do I then get notified by Amazon asking if I want to “join” or “signup” after the 30 days is up or do you have to give credit card info when you sign up for the 30 days and then they automatically bill your card? Do you then have the option of paying monthly or do you pay for the whole year? I’m really sorry for all the questions, I’m just trying to understand & I’m unsure. Thank you in advance. 😎

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You have a lot of great questions, Tammy and hopefully I can answer them all for you. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial and you’ll enter CC info. It’s up to you to cancel before the 30 days are up. If you do not cancel, you’ll be billed for the next full year. Even if you only want it for 3 – 4 months, you do pay a full year and there’s not partial discount. You can choose a monthly plan instead and pay $12.99 per month. This option makes the yearly amount you pay higher but gives you the option of cancelling before a year is up. Let me know if you have any more questions!

      • Tammy

Thank you so much Jennifer! Excellent reply! There’s a few things I’ve wanted from there so now that I know what I’m doing I’m going to go for it! I appreciate the quick response. 😊

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! I hope you enjoy the benefits of Prime, Tammy!

      • Chris

Bummer. I click on the 30 day trial link above and it’s not 30 days. It states: Try Prime for one week for only $1.99. (After one week, Prime is $12.99/month plus any applicable taxes). Cancel anytime.

  11. Sammie

thank you for heads up. There is also spend $10 on whole foods and get $10 for prime day.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the reminder, Sammie! We have that posted here.

  12. Rachel

Amazon is slowly taking over the world… remember to shop at other places than Amazon. Amazon doesn’t need more money- remember to shop local when you can 🙂

    • scamp Laird

I agree with you Rachel. If we want to keep local businesses in our communities we need to start shopping locally when possible.

    • savvyshops

A lot of individual sellers run their business on Amazon since they can reach more customers and make more money than just the local brick and mortar. So, supporting business and the economy by shopping Amazon helps the individuals as much as the corporation.

      • Rachel

It is much better to by directly from local shops in your area. Many people try and feel better by buying on Amazon and thinking they are helping others, but the majority that people buy from Amazon isn’t supporting local businesses

    • Tammy

I just cancelled my prime membership last night for this reason. It’s also poorly made products from China. Which is why such a low price point.

    • Linda

I just did the 30 day trial to walmart. I rather support them instead of amaon especially when they are price gouing 70.00 on a box of wipes. shame on amazon. support small. Plus they treat there employees like garbage. If your too slow your fired.

  13. Sarah

Can you get this with subscribe and save?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Which deal are you looking at, Sarah?

  14. Karen

I got a $10 credit for buying a succulent from a small business. I spent $15. What a nice surprise!

    • Liz

      Great idea!

  15. Jessalynn5887

Wonder why they took the 15% s&s from the solimo coffee? I just ordered some last week and got the 15%

  16. Abi

They have a Save 20% on Select Snacks, Beverages, and Breakfast. I just got a 58 pack of Quaker Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip bars for $3.92 with subscribe and save–there’s a 25% off coupon that stacks with the 25% Prime discount. There are lots of other coupons in there, but my kids won’t eat oatmeal and I can’t digest oats, so I didn’t order them. But great prices!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Wahoo! You found an awesome deal! Thanks for sharing, Abi!

  17. Nicole

I placed an order, but didn’t receive and email with a credit. CS said it arrives after the item ships?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, that could be. Here is what I found on that – “After you make a qualifying purchase from a small business, you will receive an email with information to claim your credit. Simply follow the instructions to claim your credit any time before (or on) Prime Day. After claiming your credit, the credit will automatically be applied to your purchase at checkout.”

Also, you can head through this link to check that you have qualified for the credit.

  18. Brittany

I was going to go ahead and try the Bones Coffee, but it is 17.99 for a 12 oz bag. Am I missing something?? Why so expensive?

  19. Shelly

I purchased more than $10 at Whole Foods, which I thought was also on the list for the $10 credit for small business. Is this correct? Cuz I have not received an email to claim the $10.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Make sure to check your junk and spam. You can read more about the Whole Foods Prime credit in this post.

  20. Megan

Thank you! We got some great deals on dog and cat food for our fosters we take in!

  21. csmith82

    What is Prime Day?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It’s a once a year, HUGE, sale for Amazon Prime members.

  22. sona

Is this only for smart phone users? dont have one

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Nope! You can do this from a computer/laptop or other device that has the internet.

  23. Mariah

Are the whole foods and small business promotions considered the same or different promotions? I’m just wondering if I can make a $10 purchase from each one and get 2 $10 credits?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Mariah! Those are different promotions. 😊 Happy shopping!
