Bought these last time. Some died within the first week which wasn’t unexpected but the bugs…..

    • Ashley

I bought them too. They’re so pretty but they aren’t as low maintenance as I was expecting. I got them 2 months ago and about half have died. Just totally shriveled up. I used special succulent soil and only water as per directed. I don’t know what I’m fm doing wrong.

Bugs ugh! If Amazon could they would charge extra for these!
I have noticed when I buy cheaper plants they often have mold or disease issues. I try to buy local. If they start buying their plants overseas I find another place to buy!

Oh no! SO sorry to hear that. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Were you able to contact customer service? I bought the 5-pack a couple months ago. I actually received 6, and two didn’t last. The others are still going strong.

I’ve ordered these twice over the last 2 years and for the most part have had success. No bugs. Most are still alive. Though I have to say, I find succulents to not be as care free plants as generally thought.

Absolutely. I put a lot of work and time into caring for them and sometimes it’s still not enough, because bugs are bugs… Sometimes I buy what it looks like perfectly healthy succulents, even from local nurseries, and weeks later they start getting root rot because they had previously been overwatered regularly.

I also got these and they did not last… do not reccommend.

  4. Lisa

I got the succulents last time they were posted- something like 20 of them.. Not sure what I was thinking. Then I bought 20 containers. They are currently in my daughter’s room. So far no bugs, but if I read about bugs I would have never bought! Thank goodness our batch didn’t have any, they all are still alive. She has them below a window that gets ambient / diffused light (we have a lot of pine trees), and waters them with a spray bottle. We also have air circulation going 24/7 (fans and air purifier), so not sure if that helps or not.

I found a bunch of these at Kroger on the clearance section of the flower department

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up on your find, Lesly!
