Senior Week has started online. Senior Day in store is this Tuesday, Oct. 6. Check your digitals for a $5 off $20 offer ( varies) and combine with the following codes. SENIOR20 for 20% off brand name OR SENIOR30 for Walgreens brands. Add in manufactures digitals and Walgreens Monthly Savings book digitals for additional savings. Deals I have done today include Christmas shopping for Squishmallow and Melissa and Doug stuff in one transaction with SENIOR20 as well as Comfort picture frames with SENIOR30and the $2 digital.applying to each picture frame in a separate transaction. If you are at all nervous about the upcoming changes to WAGS spend down your points this week if you are a senior. I shipped to store on purpose so that next week when I pick up I get the 25% off full price items in my pickup email. By the time I used all the codes above I had a minimum of 50% off and adding in the balance reward points I had $0 OOP spending. There are many many other options for seniors depending on what you need. Check it out!

Can you use a 25% off from a pickup order if you have done a pickup order in the past and used one? Thanks!

      • JD827

Yes you certainly can. You get the offer each time you pickup an order. The things to look for: the item must be full priced and the bar code in the email must be used in store after pickup. I plan carefully to use either a paper or digital manufacturers coupon plus a monthly savings coupon for the triple stack. It is well worth the trouble.

What are the upcoming changes to WAGS and points?

      • JD827

Look for an email that starts out
Say hello to myWalgreens (and goodbye to Balance Rewards) it is pretty vague about how myWalgreens is supposed to work

      • Tracey

It sure would be nice if Walgreens updated their rewards to be similar to CVS; I stay confused as to whether a deal is a Register Rewards or a Balance Rewards. My app shows always shows that I have $2.00 in rewards whether I have $2 or $20! Guess we shall have to wait and see!

        • JD827

Make sure you are logged into the app or log on line to see your balance reward points. You must be logged in to see them. Register rewards are Catalinas that print out at the register—hint is register. You must either present your rewards card or key in the phone number associated with your account to earn balance rewards. I regularly have on tap $50 to $100 of balance rewards dollars to spend. Walgreens is by far the most lucrative for me. There is speculation that WAGS is moving towards a CVS system and the reason would be that they would pay out a lot less for the consumer. The rules are logical but you must know them front, back and sideways. Maybe that will change to a simpler CVS or Target format but no, that’s not good in terms of money in your pocket.

If I buy one of each of the products listed above, will the $1.25 digital coupon apply to each one of them or only one of the items?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

The $1.25 coupon is a monthly savings book coupon. If you ever see those coupons, they will multiply to the number of qualified items you buy. If you buy 3, it will take off $3.75. Other digital coupons are usually limited to one-time use. Hope this helps!
