kristin ess shampoo and conditioner bottles

My new favorite! I love that this shampoo is sulfate-free, and I find that it lathers really well. I actually use less of this stuff than my previous brand because of how well it works. The scent is quite strong, but that’s an incentive for me to rinse thoroughly (both shampoo and conditioner). I’m not very far into the bottle yet, but so far I find that it cleans really well and leaves my hair feeling shiny and healthy. I’m trying to extend the days between washes, and this shampoo gives me four full days feeling clean.

It’s got some stinker reviews on Target.

    • jennap

I did notice the reviews mentioned the smell. It does have a slight perfume smell to it. Nothing too strong, in my opinion. I use this product myself and I love the scent it gives to my hair.

I agree. I think the scent is pleasant and not strong at all. Some women were being so dramatic about how they got an immediate headache and how it was so nauseating. I guess scent really does affect different people in different ways.

The cheaper stuff (Treseme) that the boys are happy with is not doing it for my daughter’s hair. Thinking of getting two of each for my daughter. I’m afraid she’ll love it and then I really won’t want to pay full price. Anyone have experience with really think hair and this brand? Guess I can return if she hates it.

    • jennap

Hi Parla4! I use this shampoo and conditioner personally and I love them! I used to use a much more expensive kind on Amazon, but I am so glad I found this stuff. You can find sales and gift card offers on it regularly so I don’t believe you’ll often have to pay full price if she loves it.

I bought this the last time Kristin Ess had an offer at Target. I love it and has helped with buildup I was having on my scalp. That cheap shampoo may cut it with boys’ hair and my husband’s but not mine. I think it was money well spent.

          Thanks, Json!

Is the gift card supposed to show up on the order or does it get sent later? Its not showing in my cart and shows under potential savings. Even if I up the quantities. Just want to make sure before I buy

Did you add the Circle offer on the product page first? It’s listed in the top of the post.
