For about 1 year prior to this purchase, I was using the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and I could not be happier with Nest Hello as a replacement. The video quality, recording capabilities, and integration with Google Home speakers (including the Mini in the bundle) is a significantly better experience. I highly recommend this product to everyone I know.
We had the first-generation Ring Video Doorbell for the last two years. Received a warning that the battery level was weak, even though we were hardwired. We were not happy with the video quality so we decided to give the Nest Hello a try. The Nest is a major improvement. The thing I like the most is that the Nest is constantly recording. I don’t miss anything. With the Ring, it would start recording if there was an event to trigger it, and usually with a delayed start.
