These Joy-Con controllers each have a full set of buttons and can act as a standalone controller. They are set up for independent left and right motion control and gamers can also use these two Joy-Con controllers independently in each hand, or together as one game controller when attached to the Joy-Con grip which is sold separately. They’re a great addition to anyone with a Switch!

These have worked exactly as they should, attached them to the console and they synced and updated quickly without issue. Haven’t had any issues connecting to the console, no issues with button or charging, they were shipped quickly and arrived in the original package with the strap attachments. They attached easily to the grip for dual play, and synced easily for single with individual joycons.
These are so amazing. They can fast and worked great. Would definitely recommend getting these. They add a fun color to the controllers.

I bought a switch and have it put away for Christmas. Can someone in the know explain what the benefit is to having a second pair of controllers? Is this something I need to have ready with the switch when my kids open it on Christmas? Thank you
When the first one breaks you’ll have an extra set! I need to get ours repaired, it’s a know issue with the joy cons, but Nintendo isn’t accepting them for repairs right now bc of COVID! You wont regret having them!

Many games allow more than 1-2 players so having an extra set can be beneficial for those games in terms of adding additional players. Personally, we own an extra set because we have two boys who enjoy playing together but my husband and I also like to join them from time to time. This is a good price to grab a pair if you are able to.
