    I have the 8qt crockpot express. Its phenomenal! I use it for more than just pressure cooking just so I dnt have to clean my stove.

    Is this much more efficient in comparison to the old fashioned crock pot?

      Oh yes. But you can also use the slow cooking features as well. I love to brown or sautee in mine then pressure cook or slow cook. Sometimes I just use it for cooking ground beef! To save on the mess.

    Worst part about this product is the steam release valve… Once it breaks (which mine did within a few months) you cannot buy a replacement piece for it. I just got rid of mine because I felt like it was no longer safe to use a pressure cooker.

    How is this different from an instant-pot?

      This takes all day to cook food. You put it in the morning and eat later in the day.
