This dog nail grinder is great!! We have a medium size heeler that has his dew claws still and they grow like crazy!! I hate to clip them so this grinder does the trick quickly and quietly.
Super easy to use, not too loud, even my finicky husky let me do his nails with minimal protests (normally is a 30 min long ordeal to get him to settle down enough to let me finish). Overall good product.
My dog is very sensitive to noises. After the first couple of nails, she didn’t mind it. I was glad the instructions said not to use it for more than 5 seconds per nail. Even with that small a time, we noticed the tips of her nails were flattened off. I plan on using it frequently for a few weeks to get her used to it. SO much easier than nail clips for me and her!

I would not recommend for cats
I have this and I’m not a big fan. It takes forever compared to my dremel and it makes a little bit of a fork scratching a plate kinda of noise.
