I love this printer! It’s very easy to use. I love that the paper tray is in the front. Copies are crisp and clean. No paper jams. Easy to install!
Really nice printer. It’s super smooth, and there are no complications. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a good printer.

Does this come with ink?
I got this last year and it does come with ink. I think its a great printer. Great price. I believe its HP 60 so the refill can be pricy but most all are.
do the HP instant ink and it is about the cost of 1 cartridge for a whole year
They had one similar last year, and I bought one. It’s a good printer.
Agreed I got it last year and like it..live to be able to print from my phone
Does this have the instant ink program
Yes and it’s such a great deal. We bought this last year at this price and signed up for the ink program. It’s my favorite printer ever and we’re saving a lot of money on ink.
Do I buy the instant ink program at the purchase of this printer?
No, you can add it anytime after the fact. There should be an info card that comes in the printer box that explains it and you sign up at home online.
I think it’s eligible for 3 free months of HP Instant Ink and Canva Pro Plan with purchase of HP ENVY plus 3 free months of Microsoft Office under “Special Offer” Heidi
We just bought this deal today! 😉 Awesome deal! We needed a printer.
I’m so glad you were able to get this, Stardust!
Thanks! Been waiting for a cheap printer deal!
Perfect! SO glad you could score the deal you were looking for! You’re most welcome!
Awesome!!!
Wow! Perfect timing! We needed a printer and with the price and great reviews I am sold. Thanks for sharing!
Saw the deal, bought online, picked up at local store all in 30 mins. Love when things go this smoothly!
Yay! You’re welcome, Cynthia!
Our printer died two days ago, and with remote learning, we can’t really go without. This was perfect timing. Ordered this afternoon and just picked up curbside tonight. Yes, it includes ink, but appears to be kind of a starter pack? But honestly, even if the ink doesn’t last long, this is like buying ink and getting a free printer, lol. It uses the HP65 ink cartridges.
SO glad you could grab this one as a replacement! Thanks a TON for your feedback, Ariavenew!
I bought an HP Envy last year and they sent me a new set of cartridges soon after I signed up for Instant Ink.
Yes! Looks great. Thank you to the people who take the time to comment with their personal experiences, so helpful. H2S saves me so much time and makes it easy to get the deal, thanks all of you 🙂
Aww, You’re very welcome, Bree! Happy you can grab this one!
Had this for about 2 or 3 years, never had an issue. Great price!
SWEET! Thanks so much for letting us know it has worked well for you, Cari!
Would this be compatible with a chromebook?
Absolutely! It’s wireless so anything with Bluetooth can hook up to it. We print from computers, chrome books, and cell phones.
Perfect! I was waiting for a deal and with all the great comments and reviews I was sold. Can’t wait to pick up this weekend. Thanks Ladies !!
Ugh I guess it is out of stock. Can’t ship?
Oh yes! Thanks for commenting. It seems this is available for pick up only.
I bought this one last year. I’ve been working from home for 7 months and print quite a bit. This thing is a beast!! I highly recommend it!!
Thank you for the recommendation, Michelle!
Does this printer have problems with the wireless connection staying connected? I have a really old wireless printer and I have to uninstall and install it all the time to get it t work
I’ve never had an issue and have owned this printer for about 3 years. Love it!
Bummer I wish it was in stock near me!
would you recommend for buying the protection plan for 4 years at the purchase?
No. They go on sale frequently enough that it would be cheaper to replace when broken. I’ve had 2 (older versions) and both lasted for years. I think I really only got rid of them due to out of state moves. Just picked up a new one today.
DO NOT BUY IT. The ink refills are gonna kill you in the long run! I sat down and did the math and I have spent so much more than I realized. If you research, they make these printers cheap because they know they’re making the money on you for ink. I highly encourage you to look at the # of prints a cartridge is going to give you especially if you aren’t printing coupons or often. Also this printer just “died” on me anyway. I upgraded!
Which printer would you recommend?
I pay $1.99 a month for 50 prints with Instant Ink and the cartridges are delivered to my door for free. I haven’t bought a cartridge for a printer in years. I recommend the instant ink, it’s a real money saver.
But don’t all printers use a fair amount of ink? Why is this worse than others? Also, they offer the plan for between $3-$10 per month, they send you ink refills as often as you need. That’s less than two sets of ink cartridges for my old printer per year, even with the most use possible per month. So in that way, I’d probably be paying half of what I was for ink for my old printer, per year. Is there something about this model that uses more ink than others?
I’m agreeing with Ashley here. With my equivalent Canon printer and generic cartridges, I’m spending $4 per 500 prints (roughly the output of 1 set of XL cartridges). With the HP, it’s 10X the cost. Reading others messages here, the instant ink program would help that difference but it’s still large. For clarity, we are homeschoolers and do lots of printing so the difference really adds up.
I’m curious what generic ink you trust for your Canon? Mine is so expensive and it is what I’m using for virtual school as well.
Over the last 5 years that I’ve had this printer, I’ve used several brands. Super generic from Amazon. Some names are Vaker, Hi-Vision, Kingjet, and ink4work. No names really. I just make sure they have hundreds of reviews and average 4-stars or better. Most recent purchase was $19.99 for a 5-pack of XL cartridges in every color.
Anyone know if generic ink works well with this HP printer?
i had mine refilled (not sure if thats the same thing) but could not get the color refill to work.
If you buy the insta ink it is inexpensive. I love that program.
I still don’t see it as inexpensive. With 300-500 prints per month, I’m in the $10-$15 plan range. So $120 to $180 every year. Suddenly that $35 printer isn’t so cheap. In 5 years, I could easily spend $600 to $800 on just ink for this. I’m spending $40 per year right now for 10 full sets of ink on the Canon, which yields about 5000 pages per year.
I’ve had mine since 2016 and love it . It’s super easy to use I did opt out of the instant ink program but I’m not sure if this model lets you opt out. All printers become expensive with the ink factor ( just like your car needing gas even after if it’s paid off and the cost of that in the long term) but it’s been an excellent printer for us super easy to use and user friendly. I print stuff all the time and the quality is good. I recommend it !!
Is this a good price to buy HP all-in-one inkjet printer or should I wait towards Thanksgiving for cheaper deals on this type of printer? Thank you!
This is $75 off, if that helps you decide
bummer…….can’t have it shipped and the nearest store is 3 hours away.
For those of you who live near a store this is an incredible deal.
Amazing deal! I bought 2!
where can i find this HP 5070 printer at this price?
Hi Toni! I still find it available as listed above. Maybe double check that you have logged in to your account. Hoping that helps!
I absolutely hate printers and ink etc. I absolutely LOVE this printer. I bought it last year for 29.99. It’s a program when you log into printer via computer, HP knows how much ink you have used and they will ship out ink when you need it. you pay a membership each month and can change pages per month at any time or even put your membership on hold (college kid did when she came home). When our college kid was home, we increased prints to 100 pages per month, when she went back to school we changed it to 50 pages per month. you just have to create account and then monitor your print jobs so you don’t go over each month. They also allow you to roll over unused prints per month. Great little printer. a bit challenging to set up but all if all, it’s a hassle free printer and I don’t worry about buying ink etc. Buy it, you won’t regret it. Don’t overthink that monthly membership cost, you will ultimately save money in the long run.
I wanted to add, my daughter for her printer paid 1.99 per month for 50 pages printed. Any prints she didn’t use, they rolled over into the next month up to 100 pages. She has paid $24 for the year and didn’t have to buy ink, it was shipped right to her door. It’s saved us money. Just need to monitor your account and not go over the page limit. She haven’t done that once since using the printer. hope this helps.
Why can’t I change the shipping option? I want it shipped to my house because there isn’t a store within 250 miles that has it.
Hi Kristy! It seems this one is out of stock for shipping and only available for store pick up if in stock near you. Hoping that helps!
Thank you! Wish I would have seen this earlier to buy it.
