  1. Kaylee

    Thanks! These are super cute!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome, Kaylee!

  2. M

    Wow! This is great!

  3. Southwego

    Made in China

    • momof7

I won’t buy then unless they’re made in America. Otherwise we made our own.

      • skateman1sgirl

        I agree.

      • Kathleen

I agree, to keep jobs in the US, we need to start buying US made

      • Jim

Don’t be stupid! Almost all that you have are made in China! Even your politicians are made in China bwahaha

    • msfrizzle

      LOL😂

    • LuRV

Thanks for pointing out. While I realize a great many things I purchase are made in China, I’ll always buy American made when I can. There are tons of American made options for face masks.

  4. Susan

The adult masks were too big on me and kept sliding down. The ones I bought were not adjustable.

    • Erin

Yeah, I bought a neoprene pug-snout-printed one in store for my nine-year-old daughter. I compared it to the size of one that fit her properly before buying. It smelled toxic when we opened it and although the mask was the correct size, the earholes were way too small. I had to cut bigger holes for her ears. The larger one would have been too big. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • Amy

Depending on the type of ear loop, sometimes you can twist it so it creates an X in the loop in front of your ear to make it fit more snug.

  5. Amyarlene

Ok- I’ve been trying to follow the recommendations the best I can but sometimes with everything that’s out there it’s confusing! What’s the difference between neoprene and cotton masks? Is it supposed to be 3 layers for maximum protection? So many of them are only two layers- does that mean less safe? Also, what’s up with the filters!?! If I buy a mask that says to use one – what’s the difference between non filtered masks? How much are the filters? Where can I find them? Also, can you use them without the filter? Thanks!

    • Momof7

Honestly, don’t worry about the masks. The harder they are to breath through the harder you’ll breath. Two layers of quality quilters cotton is good. Distancing and washing hands often.

I don’t recommend neoprene or the stretch kinds.

      • Judi

I bought some masks on Esty that had the quilters cotton in them, and it was VERY easy to breathe through. It surprised me, because it felt to the touch that it would be stuffy and hot, but it was (almost) the best mask I found! If you don’t/can’t make your own, Esty is a very good place to get some good quality masks, while helping small businesses!

    • halliejanellejgott

I am immune compromised so I beg you all to wear masks. My Dr said that a 2 or 3 ply mask of tight woven cotton or blend is best. Add a filter if you want or can find them. The masks don’t protect us as much as protects those we are breathing on. It is an act of kindness towards others. Also my Dr said that neoprene can be hot and collect moisture . Basically she said stick with woven 2 or 3 ply , hand washing, distance and kindness. Best to you and yours!

    • queen62

You can use a coffee filter if you think it is necessary.

    • CJ

Skip the neoprene. They don’t let you breath well enough and moisture will collect. Not good. Getting cotton is better.

  6. Julie

Just got a cute Christmas mask and a couple others! Free shipping is the best! Thanks for sharing.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are welcome! Glad this was helpful, Julie!

  7. Mari

Great deal, don’t mind adjusting a little if needed. Thanks!

  8. Jo Anna

My grandma bought some of these for me and my girls. I make my own but do like these, they ran a little bit for my girls but the ponytail trick resolves that. When I was on the store, I did notice that some of them come in different sizes.

    • Drtinsd

I have that problem with my daughter’s mask. What is the ponytail trick?

      • Jo Anna

You can pull your ponytail through the earloops and it makes the mask more snug. Pull one ear loop over, pull the ponytail through, then do the same on the other. Nice fit and you can still breathe.

  9. devinyounghornbuckle

Stocking stuffers 2020! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Grabbed some for the kid’s stockings! Refresh after Christmas break!

  10. Erin

So are the masks in the first picture available or is that a stock photo? For some reason, searching “face mask” doesn’t pull up all the face masks in my app.

  11. marissa31

These are truly, truly awful. I hate writing bad reviews but wanted to warn. The small was too little for my tiny five year old and the adult size couldn’t even stay on my face they were so big. We threw them away. Highly recommend Old Navy masks!!

  12. Mrswheels

Thank you! Grabbed a couple cutes ones for each of my kiddos and myself!!

  13. longhorn87

Just get ready… I saw this deal and ordered right when it was posted and have already received 2 emails of items being cancelled because they are out of stock 😔

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Oh, darn! I’m sorry to hear that.

  14. halliejanellejgott

I got 10! Yay! I wish they would make the fin ones in adult sizes.

  15. Melissa N Migdal

We love the kids ones but the adult ones are huge. Still haven’t found a good adult mask that aren’t the disposable ones.

    • queen62

Target universal thread are good for adults.

      • Beverly

        Agreed. They’re my best-fitting store-bought masks.

    • ryan smith

I LOVE my old navy masks

      • Meshia

Me too. I’ve purchased 3 of the 5 pks. They don’t fog my glasses and are very comfortable. Plus lots of fun patterns.

  16. Shirley

I need recommendation for masks that my kids can wear while playing basketball. I don’t mind wearing masks while out but this is just crazy.

  17. MamaBug

Thanks! My kids and I wear masks daily, 8 plus hours, for school and work. I am always looking for a new style or brand to try. What feels fine one day is annoying the next, so we have to keep switching them up.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re most welcome! Hoping these work out well for them!

  18. James D

Got some for my wife and daughter! Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome!

  19. Kelly

    Are in China… Sad really.
And get ready for cancellations. Joann is notorious for canceling part of an order. Argh…especially when I’m ordering fabric for a project/quilt…etc.

    • Susan

Yep! I ordered 5 masks earlier in the evening and just received an email stating 3 are canceled because they’re out of stock! Ugh!!

  20. shpootsen45

I’m SO excited to find these!! I recently had a terrible allergic reaction to disposable masks and have been on the lookout for some affordable 100% cotton masks and these definitely fit the bill! Yay for $1 masks!!! Just order a couple for me a couple for my kiddos! Thanks Hip2Save! 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re SO welcome! Glad you could snag these!

  21. LuRV

Made in China. Pass. While I realize a great many things I purchase are made in China, I’ll prioritize buying American made when I can, when it’s an option. There are tons of American made options for face masks.

  22. Robyn

Two of mine were canceled right away

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! So sorry to hear that, Robyn.

  23. Frannie

I went to the store and bought 3. They fit me fine and has a tag inside that says quilters cotton on mine. Also has a pocket if you want to put coffee filter inside. Good deal for 1 dollar. Regular 3.99

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Thanks for the feedback! Good to know!

  24. Lisa

It won’t let me use the promo code.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! It seems the pricing has gone up and the code no longer applies. Thanks so much for commenting!

  25. Patriot

Don’t wear masks! Super bad for you AND our rights to freedom!

  26. Gia

We’ve been using the fabric masks for months now and are very happy with them. Numerous washing and they are holding up fine. They keep adding new designs and always seem to be on sale. The most I’ve ever spent on one was $2.50. Curbside pickup is handy too.
