Check out these great reviews…
Picked this up for the new house and it works phenomenally. It is much more compact than my old KitchenAid and works so much better. It is not very loud at all which is always a huge plus! Feels very high end and looks amazing!
First, you need to get this mixer! I recently just purchased it, and it’s amazing. I’ve made some of my favorite recipes, that are normally difficult to mix, and thanks to the Delish by Dash Mixer it made it so easy and quick. It’s also a perfect size, especially for our small kitchen. We don’t have a lot of storage, which can be a pain at times. But this squeezed right into our little cabinet. I definitely think this was such a necessary buy and am happy I did coming close to the holidays I can put it to great use for some yummy cookies!
Would you buy this or a kitchenaid?
Good question… I would also like to know. I want a mixer, bad!
I personally would choose KitchenAid (and I have one). Dash is only 350 watt, with a 3 qt bowl and weighs only 5 lbs. That means it only can knead 1 lb bread dough at most, you have do it in a 3 min interval, let the motor rest or it’ll be overheat. 5 Lb weight is too light it may not stay staple when using. As per product page, it only comes with a beater and a dough hook. It doesn’t come with a paddle.
Any KitchenAid model has a beater, a dough hook and a paddle. The motor is stronger. The bowl is bigger. You can add accessories. KitchenAid can do much more than a stand mixer.
Sorry I mean “stable”, not staple.
Thank you!!!
Totally depends on your needs. If you are going to be making a lot of bread dough then kitchenaid larger motor one is the way to go. It’s the pro 600. It’s a little more than the smaller one, but will last longer. I got my mom one and it’s great. I’m debating on getting this one for myself, because I don’t need it for bread dough or anything thick and I do have a great lack of counter space. But, then, I’m thinking I might find a similar one for free or at salvation army, like the blender I just found free on the side of the road!!! 😀
I looked into this mixer briefly when I was considering a stand mixer. I don’t like that the beater attachments are stationary and you only have a manual slide to move the bowl from side to side. This means you constantly have to attend to your bowl to ensure things are mixed properly. The full size Kitchenaid mixers were too big for my needs, so I went with the KitchenAid Artisan mini. I have used it every week so far, and it works wonderfully, and mixes contents properly in the bowl. I would recommend the KitchenAid brand over this one!
Thanks for the feedback, Anne! I didn’t even know Kitchenaid made a mini!
