Where is the free gum??? lol
Right (lol)
It’s hiding between the nuts and the toothpaste (there’s no photo for the gum deal). It’s just a 10-count package.
Hi Christina! The free Mentos gum is listed above. Hope this helps!
I’m going to say it now. Buy your gingerbread houses somewhere now before they sell out closer to Christmas.
I cant find the dove coupon, is it gone?
It may show up on Sunday when the ad starts.
Wags needs to leave their rewards program alone. Didn’t they just get done “revamping” it? Sorry, for the rant. Thanks H2S as these are still great deals. I tried to text “UNLOCK” to the nubmer but says “Sorry, we can’t find any coupons for unlock…..” Wonder if we have to wait until this weekend.
I’m wondering the same. Sorry, Lisa!
Coupons reset every Sunday at Walgreens so I’m pretty sure we have to wait until Sunday.
There were TONS of great gingerbread houses at 5 Below last year. Never ran out. They even had mini sets!
Earlier this week I was in the store and had a buy 4/get 2 free Renuzit coupon on my card and a the $5 off 3 Oral-B toothbrushes coupon and a $1 off Russell Stover or Whitman’s coupon. None of those coupons was honored. Cashier told me she can no longer override. What a disappointment. She gave some explanation about making sure I had the correct product, which I had checked and double-checked. What a waste of my time.
That’s a bummer but not to worry -it can be fixed. Call Walgreens corporate reference the date, time, and store (can be found in your account history whether in store or online) and the coupons that did not apply. It should get fixed. If it can’t be fixed in the store I call corporate.
Either do the survey on your receipt or call corporate. I had something similar happen the other week. I had a $6 off $12 Walgreens coupon on my card, and it would NOT come off. I opted to use the $4 off $15 by buying more items, but the manager huffed and puffed and made some snarky comment about people “like me” that tried to use their coupons and had problems. I filled out the survey and complained about her bad attitude and actually saying that to my face, and they gave me the points for it and had the district manager email me that they would talk to her about it.
it might be worth you talking to someone about it.
But like some of the comments here, I am afraid if I do the new program now, they will be screwed up even more than the current program. I am also waiting to see what happens to people between now and January. If it’s too much trouble, I will probably just spend all the points and then start from scratch and sign up after my balance is zero.
Sorry I forgot to tell you to be sure and update to the MyWalgreens app. The old version is tied to the balance rewards system which will not work now. This could be what happened. This is a big one for people to know to do. Hope this is a small help. Sorry for the bad experience.
Actually the old system is still working if you have yet to change over to the new program. It will phase out in January. I haven’t changed over yet because I was waiting for feedback from other users before I did. This morning I did the Colgate deal and old system still works for me. Instead of earning $4 Wags Cash, I earned 4k points.
Now that’s interesting! I didn’t switch over immediately and things stopped working for me. Fortunately I had spent down all but a few balance rewards.
@luann they can still fix it in store 1 of 3 ways: 1. They can key in manufacturer coupon (and enter the value) or 2. They can give you points afterwards (which is what corporate will do if you call in and they pull up the receipt and account and you have clipped those coupons) to 3. They can price modify items to account for the missing coupon (they have done all 3 for me in the past week depending on the manager).. the renuzit B4G2 coupon never goes as planned (it always takes only 1 off- good managers will fix it somehow in store- but if they aren’t good managers, corporate will fix it)… regular employees cannot do any of these things- only managers in store can do anything I mentioned (employees can do it, but the manager has to approve it and scan in their badge)… I still have the old system as I know someone who lost a lot of points switching to the new system so I’m holding out… I had coupon issues this week and they were resolved by good managers when I pulled the coupons up in the app and showed that my items matched
Thanks, everyone. I have contacted corporate via the Web site, but have not heard anything about how I should handle something like this in the future. I didn’t buy the products, so I’m not out anything. I get tired of all the hassle.
Does anyone know if the NEW reward program allows you to purchase items with “Walgreens Cash” and still earn “Walgreens Cash” with the item purchased?
As far as I can tell the actual rules haven’t yet appeared on the WAGS website just the cheerleading stuff telling us how great it will be.
I tried those nice freezer bags in the summer when they were on this buy one get two free deal and they worked fine for me. that is a great price compared to the ziploc brand I buy, even at costco/sam’s club prices this is really a good price. thanks for heads up. I will grab some for all the christmas cookies I like to bake. Many of my relatives I would give cookies to have come up with allergies, diabetes, obesity so they asked me not to bring them cookies, but I still want to make them! This way I can freeze some and enjoy them for longer.
So glad you love these and can make and freeze your cookies!
