I just tried to use the pickup10 on a pick up order of $35 & it won’t apply, did a chat & CS rep said it’s not for pick up orders? That makes no sense to me🤷♀️

I cringe at these “gift” sets. I would be mortified if anyone gave me a deodorant or razor set for Christmas. In my opinion, these are gifts that people give just so they can say they got you a gift. I prefer to give and receive gifts that are more thought out.
I buy the deodorant sets for my husband and son as stocking items.
You shouldn’t shame people for their choice of gifts. You never know someone else’s situation. They may not be as entitled as you. 🙂 My young adult (19 yr olds) kids & friends love these sets! They are working hard & getting small paychecks. My daughter told me that she finally LOVES when I fill her stocking with personal care & socks/undies. She loves getting things that she now realizes how much they cost vs how little money is left after bills. Hope you get all that you desire this holiday season!!!
I am not shaming anyone. I simply said that I prefer well thought out gifts. Monetary value has nothing to do with how well thought out a gift is. A close friend of mine gave me a framed poem for my birthday. It was a very well thought out gift and I treasure it. My 20 year old son buys his own personal care items, but if I am out and see a good deal on men’s personal care items I will take a picture and see if he wants me to scoop some up for him. Sometimes he will say yes, sometimes he will say no. I help him out in that way, but I would never give him those items as gifts.

Last year our local SalvatIon Army Director requested these types of sets for teens/young adults as Christmas gifts. We may take these items for granted but for others they’re a great gift. Thanks for posting so I can add to our donation box
This just adds to my point. I don’t take these items for granted. They are just generic. A deodorant gift set can be used by almost anyone. That is why Salvation army asks for these items. It would be hard to set out to get a well thought out gift for everyone that Salvation Army gives a gift to.
Can it be generic? Sure just as any card, book, sweater, gift, candy can be if the person chooses to just pick up a sonething at random.. it however could also be a mothers favorite brand or something someone really enjoys and the gifted knows that.
