I originally bought this to help combat dust in my apartment. Living in Arizona, there’s a lot of it, especially when you have two dogs constantly tracking it inside. After having this up and running for a few days now, I’ve noticed a huge decrease in the amount of dust that accumulates on surfaces.
A pleasant surprise to me however is how good this is as getting rid of smells.
Again, two dogs in an apartment mean there is that lingering “dog” smell, which has vanished since getting this. It’s also quite good at ramping itself up when I’m cooking to rid the air of the odor. This thing is smart. I can spray hairspray in another room and a moment later the AQI light changes and I can hear it ramping up to remove it from the air, even though you can’t sense it in that room. The unit is next to silent, even on the high setting.
