Warning! Building this was so fun I fell down a Lego Creator wormhole and NEEDED to buy more kits! You will too! Great quality and details, you can tell this kit was created by a real Bug lover like myself. Love it!
This set was very enjoyable to build, and, unlike some other complex sets, is also fun to play with. It looks very accurate to real life (except for a strange triangle behind the rear window), and has some cool details, such as the VW fuel cap and front logo and a very nice beach kit, along with the features listed on the page. It also looks great in photos! All in all, it’s one of my favorite sets, as this is an almost perfect fusion of two of my favorite things; the VW Beetle and Lego.
