Can you order the snowman on-line?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! It appears these are available in store only.

  2. sunschwee

Just a heads up our store limits 5 of the snowman.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful comment! Good to know!

I was in the store the last and a shopper had a cart full, lol! I assumed it had to be good if she had so many. Luckily, she left a few so I was able to get one as a stocking stuffer.

      • Marley Byer

        ^in the store last night

There are a lot listed on eBay for much more than $2. Reselling is often the motivation behind buying popular items in large quantities.

I found mine at Walgreens Same ones for 1.99

    • Kim J

Thanks for that! I just checked the Walgreens website at the store near me and they are in stock! Much closer than my local Trader Joes!

    • Rina

Thank you! Found them in stock at my Walgreens too. Now I won’t have to wait in line forever to maybe get one.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing!

    • Sarah

Thank you! I’ll hit up Walgreens tonight. The closest Trader Joe’s is an hour away and in a Covid “red zone.” Thanks again for sharing that I can get them at Walgreens!

    • Jill

And you can use CYBER30 for 30% off and then pick up in store at Walgreen’s

      • Yazzay

@Jill, Thank you so much! I scored free pickup at Walgreens and got 30% off mine too!!

We got these last year. They are adorable and fun to watch melt, but my kids didn’t care for the taste and wouldn’t drink the cocoa, so it became a waste of money for the product plus the milk. It’s probably because my kids don’t care for white chocolate, but it was also VERY sweet. We got 4 , so it was a waste, so if you’re not sure it might be good to try just one first.

    • Cortney

Bought these from TJs last year- Same, it tastes gross, not even like chocolate, more like overly sweetened wax. Cute but not worth the hype. Ended up as wasted money.

I was sad to miss out on this item last year since they looked so cute. By the time I saw it was available, our stores were sold out. I found them this morning and saw they were almost 500 calories for one! After that I couldn’t justify the purchase.

    • Tia in FL

Thanks for the reply, Lizzy. That calorie count is crazy!

    • Grazia

And it is too sweet if you use the entire snowman in one cup. We split him into 3 or 4 cups.

The H2S community is the best! I was wondering about these and the comments from y’all who’ve tried them help so much. Thanks everyone!

    • TrewMommy4

      I second that …. thank you 😊

Has anyone tried the hot chocolate sticks in comparison? Do those have a better taste? Looking for something small to pair with gift cards for all the teens in the family 🙂

    • Cortney

Equally as gross & off tasting. Sad because I love dark chocolate, it seemed like such a fun stocking stuffer.

      • LB

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t get to TJ’s often, 1x every month or so (we only have 1 in the area), so I went with TJ’s bagged gold coins to pair with the gift cards 🙂

  8. Sarah

We got these last year also..and we (kids and myself included) did not care for the taste. I’d spend a few extra dollars and support your local bakers that are making them!

  9. Lolie

These are at our local Rite Aid store.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Thanks for the heads up, Lolie! We’ll have to check there too!

We got a couple when we were at Trader Joe’s last week. My daughter said it tasted good, but not like cocoa. We ended up adding a package of Swiss Miss to the mug.
Trader Joe’s also has cute gingerbread men cookies that are shaped to fit over the rim of a mug of coffee/cocoa. They’re cute and my daughter seems to find them tasty. At $2.49ish for a package of 16, that may be a better way to elevate your cocoa.

  11. Carrie

Just bought some and it might be the best hot chocolate I’ve had! I got their cocoa filled candy canes to pair with it.

Love the snowman mug in the picture – can you share where it’s from?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! We don’t have any details on that mug. So sorry.
