This is the third garden kneeler I have purchased. I have had a knee replacement and have severe arthritis in my lower back. I love gardening and could not do most of my planting and weeding without this handy little bench. I also use it for just about everything else you can imagine around the house, like painting baseboards, kneeling down to look for items under the bed, etc. I am not a light person, and these units hold up over time. My first one is 3 years old and going strong!
Purchased this for the sole purpose of using it inside. We don’t have a tub, just a shower. Getting down on my hands and knees to clean is proving very difficult without being able to use the sides of a tub. Getting down is bad enough, getting up sometimes proves to be quite comical. So I had this great idea to buy a garden kneeler, like the one I use outside.
As soon as I got this, I unfolded it and tried it. Support seems very strong, I did not have a problem getting down, and getting up was a breeze. The pad is very comfortable and cushiony. I was able to fold it back up and put it in one of the cabinets in the bathroom, so it’s always clean, ready, and accessible!

I LOVE this garden kneeler! I have no health issues (am 42 yrs old) pretty fit, but have too many gardens that are too big to keep the weeds managed! I use this all summer and always get neighbors asking if I like it as they walk by…I LOVE it! I also listen to music/podcasts while I garden sometimes, and it also works perfectly to slip my phone underneath to keep it out of the sun/prevent overheating. I have totally abused it over two summers – and not even a dent in the foam! Definitely worth buying for gardening!!! Keeps me from getting so dirty and provides a place to sit and kneel off the ground! It is one of those things that doesn’t look like you’d ever use it (kinda silly maybe?) and it ends up being one of your favorite things you ALWAYS use!
I bought this for my tall (and elegant) 89 YO grandmother a few summers ago and she absolutely loved it. It allows for sitting or kneeling, but doesn’t put pressure on your knees like kneeling directly on the ground.
Last summer I purchased one for my elderly neighbor and he loves it too. It’s stable to sit on and light enough to move without any real effort.
I’d highly recommend this for anyone that has an elderly person in their life that loves to garden but is starting to be more limited.
