I own a set of these and I love them. I purchased them about 6 months ago. The alarm is really loud which is great. I gave them to the teens in our family including both of my daughters, my sister and kept one for me.

How easily does the pin come out? I can just imagine digging in my purse at the store, snagging the loop and setting it off. Or grabbing at my keys when I drop them, and accidentally pulling the pin out. For serious self defense in case of being followed or attacked while out jogging, would this or pepper spray be a better option?
