I have a lands End winter coat that I purchased in 2001. It was no more than $40, probably more like $20. It has faded and gotten a bit dirty over the years, but not tears, no seams parting it threads coming out and the zipper still works. Great quality! I’ve never had a jacket last so long!

We used to be huge LL Bean fans, but Lands End delivers the same quality for less cost! My 4 year old has worn nothing but Lands End winter jackets and they hold up SO well. Some of the kids jackets have the “grow a long” feature that lets you undo some stitching to give an extra 1.5″ to sleeve length so we’ve been able to get 2 years out of jackets instead of just 1.
That is so cool about the stitching, amanda! I had to idea, but you’ve convinced me!
