Did anyone try this? Are you saying you get three $5 rewards for one purchase? It sounds to me that it’s only one $5 reward for $10 or MORE?

    • Roro55

My estimated rewards was $15.31 when I placed my order.

      • Darla

Same for me. My order is ready for pick up 😊

    • Vanessa

I did the deal exactly as posted and I just picked up my order – I received the $15 reward.

      • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Nice! Thanks for letting us know, Vanessa!

  2. gia

Pickup code says it doesn’t qualify for me… I didn’t clip a coupon either so I don’t know what is wrong.

  3. Lisa

“Free20” is not working for me. Help please!

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Lisa, last week when I couldn’t get my pickup coupon to apply, it was because I still had a conflicting coupon in my account. Try clicking “Not Applied” under the coupon code field and remove any other coupons you might have there. Also, make sure you are logged in, and that your post-coupon total is over $25. If you clipped the $1 coupon, you’d have to add another mouthwash to get the code to work.

  4. saraamaral

They limited me to only 4 not 5 and I can’t use free 20

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey Sara, Head over here to see ALL of the included Listerine products so you can mix and match the “flavors”. Make sure the ones you pick also have the “Spend $10, Get $5 W Cash rewards” wording and you can double dip both deals.

  5. tipaye

I can’t get more than 4 anywhere and have checked around 10 stores.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Have you tried getting 1-2 of different “flavors”? Or are you looking for 5 of just one particular one?

You could just do the 4 mouthwash and not use the discount. You will still come up with 4 free mouthwashes which is a great deal. Or consider adding Listerine Ready tabs with the discount code.

  6. lin

I hit on the link for the rebate is that all I have to do? Sorry if it is a dumb question, have only done regular mail in rebates before with receipts.

    • lin

I found the information on Walgreen’s.com When we do pickup we get a receipt we can scan in?

      • betsyrockwell

Yes. I believe a printed receipt is stapled to your bag.

        • lin

          Thank you!

This is a spend xdollars threshold deal. Walgreens regards MyWalgreens cash as dollars they have already given you. so they don’t calculate it as dollars out of your pocket You can use them but you will have to spend however many MyWalgreens cash you use ABOVE what is laid out in the deal out of your pocket. For deals where you can both spend and earn MyWalgreens cash look for deals that say “buy x number of widgets and earn x amount of Walgreens cash”.

  10. Dread

    Not working

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

It’s still working for me, Dread. Can you let me know what you are having issues with and I might be able to assist?

      • Dread

Hi. I came back to it. It worked. Thanx

  11. gia

Finally got it to work. Had to agree to terms and conditions after logging in and updating my information. It’s been awhile for Walgreens for me and had to sign up for the new rewards program.

  12. Ashley C

Will this deal work if we have it shipped?

    • Ashley

Nevermind, I see the 20% off is for pick up only.

  13. Daniela

Rebate states: “Must spend $25 (excluding tax) on participating Johnson & Johnson products in one transaction”. Is that After coupon? Thx

  14. Sue

    Worked Perfect!!! Thanks so much!!!

  15. mistylynn7

I just bought 5 and when I checked my pick up email it said my order was reduced to 4. Now I won’t be able to get the rebate. Should I try to cancel?

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

For the rebate, it does need to be one transaction so I would cancel and try again.

  16. Chrissy

I can’t seem to remove the $1 manufacturer coupon I have loaded to my card. I’ve tried everything. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    • mistylynn7

Go into your actual coupons and you can unselect it.

Can you go to the section where you view the clipped coupons? Than you just click remove. In the app on the main screen click coupons, at the bottom of the screen click saved offers, than right underneath where you see the number of saved offers click “coupons”. Than find the right coupon and click remove.

  17. mistylynn7

I just purchased 5 and everything went through. When I got my email for pick up conformation it said my order was reduced to 4. I won’t be able to submit for the rebate. Should I cancel? Or call them to find out why they reduced it.

I am pretty sure they didn’t have 5 actually on the shelf. I’d cancel because you won’t be able to do the rebate. You could than reorder just four without using the discount code or order 4 mouthwash plus perhaps say a Listerine ready tab or two depending on how you want to work the deal.

  18. AF

Can I submit more than 1 receipt to make total amount over $25 to get rebate?

    TIA

    • AF

Never mind. Just seen that they mentioned that it’s one transaction…

  19. christel

    Just did it thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Yay! You’re welcome!

  20. Kenna

mine won’t let me use free 20 but there is another one for $5 off $25 pickup which applied. My rewards show $20 so where do you g et the $10 rebate? Is it mail in?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Kenna! Be sure to click through the rebate link above to submit your receipt! Hope that helps!

  21. barb

I am not quite getting the math on this offer -if it’ts $10 off the $15 purchase that leaves $5 for the five bottles correct how are you coming up with 16cents grant it thats a good deal I just do not follow the process of getting them for 16 cents or 3cents each please explain in detail

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! You will earn $15 in Walgreens cash as well as the $10 rebate, after using code FREE20 for 20% off. Hoping that helps!

  22. riss

I got an email today saying my order has been canceled:(

  23. 3bettins

My total Walgreens cash said 15 when I ordered them. When I went to pick it up they said they were out of stock on 2 of them. I said I’d cancel the order and just add 2 more in store, forgetting the 20% off was for pickup. I went back to the shelf, there were the very ones I ordered! I told the clerk about the discount and she gave it to me, my total was over $25 still but I only got $10 Walgreens cash. Any idea why?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It may be the way she rang it up to give you the discount in-store. Or, maybe it was below the $25 if you removed tax?

I have a glimmer. In store there is no way to give you the online discount code which allows the rewards to be calculated on the full $31 plus dollars. The cashier would have probably given you store credit instead. Store credit, MyWalgreens cash, Walgreens gift cards reduce the amount that is considered spent out of pocket and so your rewards were calculated only on the $25 that were spent out of pocket. How you pay at Walgreens can really change how the rewards are calculated.

  25. Daniela

Thank you!! I got my $15 in points/rewards and I’m awaiting for my $10 rebate. On top of that I received two coupons printed with my receipt: $5 off participating personal care item ($5/$5) and a $7/$30 Any in store purchase. YAY!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      SWEET! You’re welcome, Daniela!

  26. Daniela

Is the $5cash when you spend $10 valid if I purchase in store as well? I was planning on usIng my $7/30 register rewards and do another transaction in store

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! I do find that offer listed in my store ad.

  27. Jojo

any idea why we can still meet the $30 threshold (enough to get $15 walgreens cash back from the buy $10 get $5 walgreens cash) even though the FREE20 code reduces the amount to $25? Theoretically, since it is a walgreens coupon, shouldnt we only get $10 in rewards?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! It seems that offer is applying before the discount.

Yes JoJo. Exactly. but Walgreens does seem to allow somethings online that wouldn’t fly in the store such as a coupon that requires the purchase of two items but allowing you to only buy one item with half the discount online. I don’t have a clue but if you find out I would so love to know.

  29. Lisa

So, I’m not entirely sure how it happened but I followed what you guys posted. I got 5 bottles of the Listerine, I choose to pick up. My total came to $26.14, it did take off the one dollar coupon. And I got $19 in rewards cash, plus $5 off next personal care item. Then I submitted for the $10 rebate. Which made my order free. Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! That’s great, Lisa! You’re very welcome!

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Ooh, it sounds like you may have had the mystery offer. Mine was 4,000 points back on a $20 purchase. If you had something similar, you would have gotten $15 back from the listerine and $4 back from the mystery offer making $19 total. NICE score!

  30. Jill

I did this in -store today. I missed out on the 20% off by not ordering on-line but I still got them for $1.29 each after rebate and rewards plus I received a $7.00 cash rewards (I’m unsure why) and some coupons $3 off $15 skincare and $5 off personal care items. I’ll take it!! Thank you so much H2S Team!

If you want to check a deal’s details and why you got points here is how from the app:
From the middle of the app screen under Walgreens Rewards and your $ total press
“Hit Details” than hit “View Rewards” and than press on the transaction that you want the details about. It is quite helpful.

    • Jill

It was a coupon that was printed out of their machine, so the app doesn’t tell me what it’s for 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t know about the $3 off $15 skincare but lots of people who did the Listerine deal got the $5 off personal care coupon so I think just doing the Listerine deal was the trigger for that Catalina. What is very interesting is that what is pictured on it at least for me is P&G products and it was J&J products that were bought.

        • Jill

I even showed it to the manager and she just said “oh, that’s something different”, i.e. not related to the Listerine. 😂

This is a Walgreens coupon so the manager would know far better than me. There’s no way to know for sure for an ordinary consumer. The only thing I bought was the Listerine so draw your own conclusion on that. I do know on a WAGS specific couponing website it was posted that Venus razors triggered it for her and her friend. My guess is that various personal care purchases will trigger this to print but which items, what quantity, and if for everyone I couldn’t say. Did you buy any skincare at the same time and is that one a Walgreens or is it a manufacturer’s coupons? If WAGS it could be they are printing every so often or something you bought or something in your personal profile triggered it. If they are manufacturer’s than what triggers those are scanning the right product bar codes in the right amount. Those are predetermined by the manufacturer. Those are not secrets and schedules for those can be found at store specific couponing websites and facebook coupon sites.

  32. Melanie

I submitted my rebate twice now and it got rejected. Doesnt like my in store pick up receipt. So I will try again.

    • SavingsMama

Umm yeah they have rejected my receipt as well. I screenshot what was sent from Walgreens and I got nothing but the mouthwash in a brown bag when I picked up. I’m super annoyed with the company handling the rebate and it has to be submitted by 12/31. I hope they will fix it ASAP.
Side note, our Walgreens said only $10 can be used per day per account. Idk if that’s everywhere and maybe someone else would just ring up a separate transaction but not ours…so this deal was a bit more frustrating than expected!

      • Miss

Mine has also been rejected x2 times. So annoying they playing games!

      • SavingsMama

I have resent and it does include the date. This is what they told me: After further review, we’re sorry to let you know that your receipt could not be accepted. The receipt does not include the purchase date.

        Customer Service

I am contacting once again because I honestly would not have bought this many mouthwashes had it not been for the additional $10 rebate offer. I am super disappointed in Fandango for being so difficult especially at a time when EVERYONE is ordering online and doing store pick ups etc.

  33. Emily Keelon

Has anyone gotten the rebate confirmation….they keep rejecting mine

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Maybe try contacting them. It looks like you can do that with a form that pops up after you click on “get started” and then click on the “contact us” in the fine print on the very next page. Hoping that helps!

    • Daniela

Yes, mine has been approved the next day and I already received a link to pick up either a virtual card For immediate download or have an actual $10 Visa card shipped. I picked up my online order in store although it was supposed to be curb pick up and they printed an actual receipt of my on line order. I also received 2 catalinas offer with my receipt. A free item up to 5 dollar and a $7 points on my next $30 purchase. So I repeated the deal in store and got $22 in points and Another $10 Visa card

  34. Yasmine

Just did this deal yesterday. 5 listerine bottles & 2 packs of Listerine chewable tabs. Paid $28, got back $21 in Walgreens points. Only problem now is my receipt was denied for the offer. Going to reupload again, hopefully it gets accepted.

Yes. I got mine first try. Regardless of whether you go inside to pick up, pickup at the drive up pharmacy window or do a curbside order you should get what looks like a standard register receipt. It is not printed out until you are there to pick it up in any of these choices. I’ve had it stapled to the bag and I’ve had it handed to me. If you don’t get it be sure and ask at that time because it’s probably dropped on the floor or in a trash can and can be retrieved. It can be reprinted later but unless you get the right manager you will probably be told that it can’t and be out of luck.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks so much!

  36. Yasmine Valladolid

So update on my rebate- it’s been denied for the 2nd time. Met all requirements, including spending $25 pre tax & coupons. Offer has now expired so there’s no way for me to re-upload.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! You may still be able to contact the rebate center when you click through the rebate link, then click on “get started”. There you will find you can click on the small print that list “contact us”. Hoping they may be able to help!

  37. hip2saver

my reciept got accepted and I got an email for the gift card but when I click the link it says offer expired Jan 31 and it wont let me get the virtual card. anyone else have this issue?

  38. Blue

I just realized that I never got a rebate. Do you know what email address it came from?
