This is a sharp-looking, well-made bed. The installation was super easy and took about 30 minutes. All of the hardware except for one bolt is already attached to the pieces so there’s virtually no chance of losing any parts. The material is a very dark gray, almost black. The color is variegated somewhat. It looks like real leather even though it’s faux. It feels very sturdy. You can use it with or without a box spring. I like how the whole frame is wrapped in leather and not just the headboard.

Such a great purchase! I was looking at headboards at Pottery Barn and then found this one for about 1/4th the cost. It looks great and feels very sturdy. Was easy to assemble with my husband – about 45 minutes. Highly recommend!

After reading the repeated reviews that all customers were happy, and all talked about the sturdiness of the bed, we went for it! It’s the heaviest bed I’ve ever had, Seems like it’s made to last. It has 13 – 1″ thick slats for box spring to sit on, the previous bed had 3! The color is darker, as you can see the difference in the picture, versus the color option ( appears lighter ). We were happy either way, as darker linen fabric seems to go with our decor just fine. Directions were super easy! Everything lined up as some other customers had small issues. After sleeping on it one night, it was sturdy, silent, and looks awesome. Telling Friends we bought a Bed at Home Depot is where they all chuckle, but seeing it and looking at quality, EVERYONE is AMAZED !!
