Way over rated
Yes they are overrated. But people don’t seem to see that. For example, Aldi candles are half the price everyday. You don’t have to wait for a sale and beg for a coupon.
Jelous of Aldi for sure! Nothing like that in the northwest :(…. I’d way prefer a $5 3-wick.
They are not available for everyone and you can’t buy them online. Unless they change thier availability they will continue to get less attention.
These two above me must not have smelled the right candles. I bought Flannel and Mahogany Balsam at the last sale and they are incredible. I’ll buy them regularly now.
We love B&BW candles. The closest Aldi to me is an hour and half away. When I was near the store, I went to check out the candles and there were none to be found.
While yes, there are other brands that are better Bath and Body works is still one of the best candles
How’s the quality with how they burn and how long they last? I’ve been pretty pleased with the Sonoma brand at Kohls, Red Shed at Tractor Supply, and Jonathan Scott at Kohls. There’s some nice locally made brands by me that burn great/smell great but more like $13-$18 a candle. Sometimes candles are cheaper for a reason though.
They burn nicely but don’t last long at ALL! I buy when the price is very, very low. They are very strong, which is great if you love the scent. If you don’t, it can be headache inducing. I probably wouldn’t buy them at all (too hard to work a great deal) except Yankee Candle discontinued my favorite scent and BBW is the closest approximation I’ve found so far. As for Aldi candles, I really don’t love them. The scents are limited and usually ones I can’t tolerate (perfumy, musky). I like the fruity ones but the throw is weak and they tend not to burn as well as higher end candles. However, I will buy their Anthropology Volcano knockoff any day. I do really like the Walmart Mainstays candles I’ve tried, and I find them most comparable to BBW. Definitely of a lesser quality but great for the price. I like the Hazelnut Cream and Eucalyptus Sage.
I’m a big fan of BB&W candles, but I ❤️ the eucalyptus sage from Walmart’s line so much!
Black chamomile is a nice one to try, its my new fave. I usually like the stress reliever or plain ole vanilla. So strong though, I cant leave mine lit more than a half hour in the bigger rooms.
Aldo candles are good, but only three kinds available and it’s sold out quickly. I wish they provide more smells available.
Anyone have an extra coupon….? If so I would greatly appreciate it . Keeshpink@yahoo.com
Try Goose Creek! They are very reasonably priced, burn clean and there are tons of amazing scents 🙂
I’ve definitely tried other candles especially Target ones or homegoods and they smell just the same, not worth the price anymore.
I picked up a Target one for the fall. Very disappointed with it. Very little smell when it was burning.
same
You can always return it if you don’t like it after trying it. Great customer service. I find their candles to burn for a lot of hours as the label states.
I just burned one of their candles yesterday that I just purchased..there was hardly any scent. What a rip off
