I was searching for a non-bulky surge protector to protect my electronics and came across this one. They are a bit bigger than regular outlet so will require a bit of trimming of the wall so it can sit flush. I will slowly replace most outlets with this.
I used these to replace two of my four outlets in my office. Though they were mildly challenging to get into the electrical box (due to the wiring being so stiff and it being fairly large), they are in the wall securely. Be aware that a standard electrical box will support this form factor; HOWEVER, the fit will be very tight. The connections are tamper-resistant, which means you may need to put a little more force into plugging in your accessories, but everything stays secure. Overall, it is a great product!
