Burger King Brazil Captured the Essence of 2020 in One Stomach-Turning Burger
If you think 2020 left a bad taste in your mouth, just imagine biting into this sandwich! 🤮
Although there were many bright spots and unexpected blessings that came out of 2020, it probably won’t go down in any history books as the best year ever. In fact, most of us are pretty glad that it’s over. This is the exact sentiment behind Burger King Brazil’s 2020 Sandwich of the Year.
The Brazilian burger chain surveyed its customers about their overall impressions of 2020 and used that feedback to build a sandwich inspired by their feelings. The results are just about as unpleasant as you’d expect, as confirmed by the facial expressions of the brave customers who sampled this sandwich in a YouTube video that you can’t unsee.
Mercifully, this sandwich won’t actually appear on the menu at any Burger King restaurant in Brazil or elsewhere. If you’d like to recreate one at home for some reason, you’ll need soggy noodles, sardines, a chicken foot, thick caramel sauce, Jell-O, a burnt bun, and a desensitized gag reflex.
Recently, Burger King also made international headlines for having a much more palatable reaction to 2020. The chain took a break from posting photos of its own burgers on social media to encourage its followers to support local restaurants instead. The restaurant even opened up its Instagram page for locally-owned restaurants to share photos of their own menu items, giving lesser-known businesses a larger audience at a time when so many are struggling. 💗
If you’re looking for an inexpensive (and sardine-free) way to kick off 2021 with the kiddos, Burger King is offering a FREE kids meal when you make a purchase of $1 or more with a coupon found in the BK app. In fact, this would be an inexpensive way to feed the whole family, considering the fact that Burger King has hamburgers on its dollar menu and this offer can be redeemed multiple times! Head on over here for all the details.
It looks like there’s fingers or worms coming out of it🤢🤮
I think it’s a chicken foot!

We asked the internet what the 2020 retrospective would look like in a sandwich … well, the result is there.
This product will DEFINITELY not be marketed in Burger King restaurants. Unless 2020 doesn’t end in December, which would actually be worse than any sandwich.
