We bought this before. Very happy with them. And they make the restroom smell nice. Especially since we have the litter box in there too.

      • chesca

Thank you. I might try simply due to the added scent too. Any “good” smells are welcome in my bathroom anyday!!

Thanks, chesca! Glad you got it figured out!

      Same here!

I wonder how is this compare to Costco brand (quality-wise), which I really like, but not available at our local Costco for some time now.

My mother dislikes the Scott Paper Towel for one simple reason and yes its somewhat silly but ive been there and seen it happen and it IS frustrating…. She has the roll holder on the wall and when she goes to tear a sheet either 10 pull down instead of the one easily tearing off, or the sheet will rip off with complete disregard to the perforations. We are not a high maintenance family as we sound like when i reread this…i swear LOL

That happens to me too. I dont like these paper towels and only by them because that is all they have or the best price

Sam’s club has Brawny and Bounty Essentials online in my area at least. You might want to look at Boxed.com. Boxed has Bounty, Brawny, and Seventh Generation and a house brand. I don’t think the price is special but not outrageous either. Use code Bulklife for 15% off a first time order over$19.98. For those who can’t shop in stores it’s another source. I have found Walgreens also a pretty good source for paper towels as well often finding Viva there when I can’t anywhere else. Their house brand Complete Home is adequate (not Viva quality) and usually available for store pickup in my area at least.

What do you use paper towels for? I’m curious.. our house uses rags/dish towels and it’s a lot cheaper. If I’m cleaning something really gross I just throw the rag away.

You are absolutely right! It is much cheaper. That being said I’m in the over 70 crowd and grew up when everyone used rags and washed them. I’m ecstatic that I flat out never have to wash a rag again after a lifetime of doing so. People who use laundromats may not want to use rags. People who have incontinent elderly to care for or ill, elderly animals may not either. I can literally think of hundreds of reasons people might want to use a mix of rags and paper towels. I would really miss using Viva to suck up the last bit of grease out of the browned ground beef for instance. To each their own luxury or economy!

FYI – these just arrived 3 days and they are very aromatic (strong scent)…they are still smelling up my entire basement and actually you can smell it as you come down the steps. Not exactly a fan of the strong scent, but hoping they “air” out a bit before we have to use them.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know about the scent, Rachel!

Not really sure… what is considered a good deal on paper towels? I am not very concerned about brand, but do not want something thin. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  6. Michele

I think if I did my math correctly this may have about 50 more sheets then Costco however I think Costco is around $16 or $17 now and this is $22

    • Michele

      $23

      Thank you!!
