I spent several weeks reading reviews and performing my own research on which brand of dehumidifier and what size before finally choosing this Insignia 50 pint. It has worked very well so far (we’ve only had it about 4-5 weeks) to pull a lot of moisture out of our master bathroom where we’ve had some mild surface mold issues. Here’s hoping this will solve that for us.

I recently had an issue with mold due to the humidity in my home and had a remediation removal to clear the problem. I was recommended to try a dehumidifier and after extensive research decided on this unit. I have to say this humidifier makes a huge difference. When first set up I had to empty the tank about 3 to 4 times in 1 day (that should give you an idea of how high the humidity was in my house)
