This is now my favorite knife! I love that it is a little more hefty than most commercial stamped knives. The blade is very, very sharp, so those that are used to a dull blade are going to need to be VERY careful at first. The handle is wide, and it has a great ribbed section where your thumb and fingers go (if you hold the knife the CORRECT way). I love the fact that it is so affordable – to the point that it is disposable when you drop it or if someone accidentally puts it in the sink!

I spend four to six hours every Sunday meal prepping. I spend about 30 minutes a day during the week cooking and cutting up food from what I meal prepped for my family (wife and two kids), and when I say these knives make my life better, I mean just that! They take an edge quickly, they retain it, they wash easily, they grip while they are wet, and overall, I cannot understate the usefulness of a good kitchen knife.

Overkill on the blade materials – this thing is sharp. The wavy edge blade is just right for breads, and I remember it being advertised as a bread knife. But, it makes a terrific cake knife, which is what I use it for. It’s doing it’s job nicely. The offset handle design helps when cutting through a cake as my hand does not hit the table when I am cutting.
