Oil of Oregano is used as a dietary supplement to help with colds, coughs, and sore throats. With antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties, it helps boost the body’s natural immunity. Oregano oil can also be used on the gums to keep them healthy.

Note that this is considered a hot oil which means it can cause a warming sensation when applied to the skin or might feel like you ate something spicy. The oil itself is not hot, but it does react with your skin.

You can dilute this and drink with water or mix it with another oil if the warming sensation bothers you.

On the fence? Check out these helpful reviews…

This oil is easy to swallow since it is administered by dropper. I put it in a gelatin capsule which helps with more of subtle flavor since oregano oil is very potent. This oil is very warming, as well as, very effective in it’s holistic properties. Also, this organic oregano oil is a very good grade for the price!

I use this product for gut health and to combat viruses. Overall I believe it builds the immune system and creates natural defenses against seasonal bugs and flu viruses.

It is a strong oregano oil, which is what you want in this product. Therefore it’s not a yummy pleasant experience when ingesting the oil. But the taste dissipates fast. The intensity is a sign that you’re getting a good oil that has not been diluted. The price is good too. I’d highly recommend it for those looking to buy oregano oil.

If you buy this, bevery careful. I bought some and took too much when I felt myself getting sick in college. I had a test coming up and didn’t want to miss it. Well…taking more than the recommended amount had me sitting on the toilet, with my head in the trash can. That cold never did materialize though. 🤔🤣

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Thanks for the warning, Katrina!

Oil of oregano is as potent and strong smelling as anything I have smelled. Cannot really speak to the effectiveness although there are great reviews supporting its many benefits.

I use it for my son’s respiratory health you have to use very little and mix it in w either lotion or coconut oil

Research very carefully. Some are not meant to be ingested. I only buy from reputable sources. “The Herb Quarterly” and others are good research. The oils and when herb is picked are important.
