Seeing the Walgreens ad scan reminds me – is anyone getting the actual ad, or like me, do you get digital? I can’t remember the last time I’ve held an ad in my hands. Our store doesn’t have them either. Just curious.

In my local area, the Walgreens ad went digital about six months ago.

They don’t send me weekly circulars anymore nor are the circulars in store. Live in Queens borough of NYC.

Still getting the ad. Eastern Pennsylvania. Comes with the paper Tuesday or Wednesday. They have it in the store too. At least last time I checked. Where they have the little coupon books.

We don’t have the coupon books either. I always referred to both ad and coupon books when shopping. Yes, I look at the digital, but it’s harder for me to keep up with. I’d rather have something in my hands.

If you look back through your emails last of May/ June 2020 you will probably see the announcement that they were “temporarily” suspending the paper copy. I haven’t been in a store for months (seems like years) but the copy in the Sunday newspaper is no longer there in my area. Walgreens emails are always worth reading for policy shifts, sales, coupon codes, and the very easiest way to pin hard to find offers in the app to your card. If you miss the printed ads send them an email, call, write a letter because Walgreens can be shifted. I can see several sides to the issue. Not everyone is digital and is left behind but do we really need more paper trash?
