These are the only tennies I wear. I have 6 different styles. The toe box is awesome. My toes can wiggle. They appreciate that!
Wide toe box girl here, VERY wide toe box. I was just introduced to Altra and they FIT!!!!! Never had heard of them before. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I was already planning on ordering a new pair of running shoes this week for $120. I have run in Ultra Torins for years now so was so excited when I saw this deal. I ordered the trail shoes too! What great deals! If you are ordering these to run in, it is typically advised to order a size up for running shoes to allow your feet enough room to splay as you run.

I already have these from Jack Rabbit. Personal experience so far: they run big to me, by half size…. however, they are very wide to start with a wide toe box (as described). For comparison, in Ryka, 9 are too small and I have to size up for enough toe room. In Altra, this model Torin 4, the 9 are very spacious. I have to wear thick socks. I could have tried returning, but 8.5 could have been a little too small. I didn’t see a lot of comments about them running big, just that they were comfy so I hope this helps another reader. Btw, they are like a squishy base, comfy but not the right model if you generally wear more firm insoles.
Somewhat new to running and I don’t even know where to start with shoes. I’m flat-footed and wear a 7.5-8. I run daily, usually just 2-3 miles. Looking for something supportive and affordable. Thanks for any recommendations!
Hi, molly! I would check out the other comment on this post. A reader did leave a review with her thoughts. Looks like it would be helpful to you!
If you have a Fleet Feet near you they do a great job with proper fitting. They offer a military discount and rewards program as well.
