Whether you need something fun to do around the house or are looking to learn a skill to earn some money on the side, now is a great time to learn something new with International Open Academy! They offer over 200 courses ranging from arts & crafts, learning sign language and so much more.

I took the Dog Training Essentials class and I found it extremely helpful. I’ve taken my pets to training classes before, but we never really made it to our full potential. There were just too many distractions and too many other students for us to really excel in the class. That is where Dog Training Essentials became amazing. The instructor was very well-spoken and explained and showed me how to do everything. It was nice to be able to pause the video and work with my dog.

There are so many tips and tricks throughout this class, that I feel it would benefit beginners to the advanced. Not only will my overly spoiled dog sit and stay, but he listens so much better to me and we had a fun time learning together. – Hip Sidekick, Kristi

    • Danielle

Weird. It’s coming up as $13.09 for me.

I’m so excited about these. I’ve been so bored since March (were still mostly quarantined where I live) that I signed up for six courses, including the extra money for unlimited time to complete them, and it was $160. This deal made my day!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, SO glad to hear that! Happy this deal popped up for you today!

Our local library offers on online resource called Universal Class, they are online classes with a wide array of topics all for free, maybe your library offers it also and they are all free

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How neat! Thanks for the helpful suggestion, Heather!

    • Arelys318

Thanks so much for sharing this Heather, I just checked and i can access to the same program through my library and I didn’t have a clue.

When does the promo code expire?

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

It looks like this is for the month of February.

Thank you just signed up for the Instagram for Business this will enhance my freelance work. Can you use the code fir multiple classes/ is repeat use of code allowed?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Great question! It looks like that should work for you as I just added multiple classes to my cart and it applied to each.

  6. Beazy

Are these courses for a limited time frame or can they be used in the future?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! Here are the details I found on that –
“Our courses are fully online. Once you register on our website you will have 12 months to activate your course. From the date of course activation you will have access to your Virtual Campus account any time, day or night so you will be able to complete the course at your own pace over the generous study time period. We recommend 30-160 study hours, depending on the course. Students have 60 consecutive study days to complete a course.”

      Hoping that helps!

Can you share where you found the accreditation source? I looked all over the link provided snd don’t see anything about an accreditation.

  8. Bekah

That is what I’m wondering too – can you use the code more than once?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It appears so, as the offer did apply on multiple classes for me. Hoping this helps!

  9. Ariavenew

The accreditation mention is misleading. The classes surely offer a wonderful learning opportunity, but you’re not going to be able to apply this toward a recognized credential, earn credit that would transfer elsewhere, etc. (those are some of the purposes of accreditation). You want to look for a regionally accredited institution if that is your aim. It would be better to just not mention accreditation, since most people wouldn’t care about that for enrichment classes of this type, and this “accreditation” is not the standard.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks! We’ve updated the post.

Has anyone used any of these classes for homeschool students (high school)? My high schoolers have started our local community college in 9th grade. Thought maybe they would offer a class as an elective.

  11. cathytenen

I made my purchase for three classes but didn’t get a voucher code not sure how to log in for my classes i did register on their website
