Fisher-Price Storybots Musical Guitar Toy Only $12.50 on Amazon (Regularly $30)

Our little one loves to play his “guitar” – and we love that it’s teaching him his alphabet at the same time! Brightly colored, easy to use, and nicely sized for a toddler, this guitar makes an excellent gift. The usage is fairly straight forward – batteries are already included/installed and once you remove it from the package, you use the whammy bar to select a letter then strum the “strings” (a plastic bar that looks like a group of strings) to play a song that uses the sounds/words with that letter. For a plastic children’s toy, it seems to be well made as most Fisher-Price toys are and is plenty loud.

I know a lot of toys will claim that they can help teach your toddlers things like the alphabet, shapes, or numbers, but this actually has been great for my 2-year-old. She’ll put on the guitar and pretend to be jamming. After a while, she started catching on to what was going on and has been showing some pretty awesome talent with her alphabet. The guitar is loud and ready for your aspiring rock star for sure. I am a big fan of Storybots, even if my 2-year-old isn’t, so I don’t mind hearing the SFX and songs all day long. A pretty solid win in my book.
