Amazon helps you get glowing skin!

Today, February 9th only, hurry over to Amazon where they are offering up the newest version of the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing Facial & Body Mask 1lb Tub for only $9.70 (regularly $14.35)!

This facial mask has hundreds of 5-star reviews making it one of the most highly-rated masks on the market and even better….it’s super affordable! This Indian Healing Clay mask can be mixed with water or apple cider vinegar, but we had better results using the vinegar. You simply mix it up, generously apply to your face, and wait about 10-20 minutes (depending on the level of your skin’s sensitivity)! Easy peasy!

Check out what our Hip2Save sidekick, Emily, said about this mask…

“This mask sucks out EVERYTHING in your pores — and you know it’s working from the tingly and constricting sensation! I recommend always using ACV to mix in with the mask over water, as water can make it a little too clumpy. I usually follow it up with a very hydrating lotion or a hydration mask since my skin tends to feel a little dry afterward. You get so much out of one tub and it’s so inexpensive. I could never be without this mask in my skincare routine!”

Plus, check out these awesome reviews…

This is the best mask! Used it back in the day for my acne and now that I’m almost 30 I’m using it for age prevention! I have a lot of dry skin issues including psoriasis and this works wonders! A tidbit goes a long way…don’t over pour or you’ll end up with a lot of face mask leftover!

I’ve been meaning to try this for a while after reading so many great reviews about it. It definitely surprised me. I have really sensitive skin so I tried it with water first instead of vinegar and followed it with Dr. Thayer’s Witch Hazel Toner and the results are amazing. I’ve had problem skin my whole life and I’ve never had a product work so well.

Thank you for introducing me and my daughter to this product. We purchased it the last time you posted it and now we do facials once every two weeks. We love this product. She does have very sensitive skin so she only leaves it on for 5 minutes while I leave it on the full 10. This is a great deal so I will purchase one to keep as the one we have is a little over half way done.

You’re welcome, Mary! SO glad you have both been loving it! My daughter and I do the same thing! šŸ™ŒšŸ’–

  2. LaDonna

I purchased mine at target for 7.99 thatā€™s the regular price online šŸ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback, LaDonna! The clay mask above is the newest version. Hoping that helps!

Do you know what the difference is between the ā€œoldā€ and the ā€œnewā€ version, other than some minimal packaging changes?

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

The main difference I see listed is that it has expiration dates and new packaging to keep it fresh. Hope that helps!

It is a lot cheaper in store at Whole Foods. It was under $5 when I bought it. I didn’t love it. It made my skin soft and “tight” but also itchy! And it’s kind of a pain to remove and dispose of, since it can’t go down the drain.

I like it but have also found it a pain to get off and dispose of. Anyone have tips for this?

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! To remove, I have found a warm washcloth held on my face for a few seconds before wiping off is helpful. That way you let some of the moisture sink in to make the clay easier to remove. Hoping that might work well for you too!

    It’s cheaper at target

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing! It seems that option is the older version. Hoping that might help!

  4. Jackie

    Same mask $7.99 at Target

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Jackie! That option appears to be the older version.

      • Jackie

Do you know the difference between the old and new version? I figured it was just un updated label. Is it more gentle?

        • Freyja Wolz

There’s nothing different about the product. They added expiration dates and shrink wrap.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! It appears that the main difference is the packaging to keep it fresh as well as the new printed expiration dates. Hope that helps!

It’s great as a hair mask also especially for scalp buildup/dandruff

  7. jeeperzmom

Not a fan of the name of this mask. šŸ™

If you have issues with boils, this will help alleviate the pain and drain them.

  9. Hairlo!

    Love this on my hair!

    • lolisglez

Hi, how do you prep/use for your hair? Iā€™m interested

  10. Brenda

On your hair and face, how do you keep it from going down the drain?

  11. mrswagley

Why can it not go down the drain? Will it clog it?

    • mommyof51987

That is what I want to know. I cannot find anywhere on my container or on the Amazon listing page that states this.

      • mrswagley

Maybe it has to do with local laws… Idk. Lol. My other clay mask all get rinsed down the drain and I’m on septic. It’s never caused an issue.
