Got these for my baby so she doesn’t get her clothes wet from drooling when she’s teething. The design and colors are very cute. Yes, the underside is a thin plastic material. Thin is good so it’s not so bulky of a bib. The plastic being there is great so that the drool/liquid doesn’t seep onto the baby’s clothes. It’s functional and decent.
The cleaning directions recommend air drying after washing but I’ve dried them before on the gentle cycle and they were just fine. Even when you hang dry, they don’t take that long to dry.
Overall, I like these bibs and recommend them. I’ve also bought 2 more sets for myself and bought one for my sister.
