Have you guys heard of Thrift Books? My oldest reads quicker than I can keep up with, and he re-reads favorite series. I can’t afford to buy brand new books for him as much as he would like, and our library doesn’t always have the series he wants. Thrift Books has some great prices on used books, starting at like $4, and free shipping when you reach $10. Their prices and loyalty program aren’t as great as they used to be, but if you don’t mind previously loved books (mostly ex library books) you can get a great deal and build your home library up on the cheap.

Thanks! Amazon had some pretty good prices on several series – I bought a 3 books series around the Harry Potter character Nicholas Flammel. I’m going to read them & then pass them on to my daughter to read!
Candace I would suggest betterworldbooks to you. This site supports literacy in the USA and around the world. Shipping is free both in the USA as well as internationally. Most are exlibrary books and the selection is massive. If your public library doesn’t have what you need they will borrow it for you. Just ask them. Browse worldcat.org to see what libraries have.
