Purchased 2 sets. I had been looking for a set like this with both plastic and glass tops! Used them for thanksgiving serving and to keep food nice and warm. Received lots of compliments! Price is far best compared to other department stores. I now use them for storing fruit and dinner leftovers. Tops have a nice seal and the glass top is nice for display
These are not only beautiful and functional, but they are also easy to store. It is great to have the flat tops to store leftovers in the fridge. I absolutely love CorningWare, and the French White goes with any set of dishes that I use. I give this set 5 stars.

Than you are lucky enough to have a set actually made by Corning Glass. In the late 1990’s Corning sold the line off and it is now made abroad. The new is very nice but nothing like the quality of the old which is pretty much indestructible . I have my set from the 1980’s.
