WOW that’s a lot of tuna!!
Yup. My daughter has autism and this is one of the main things she will eat.. so this is a good deal for her. She will eat at least one can a day.
Please be careful with your tuna intake … tuna contains high levels of mercury: especially for young children, because it affects their brain, nervous system, heart, kidneys, and lungs. Please google “tuna mercury” and you’ll find tons of info about mercury in tuna.
According to tuna guidelines, children under age 6 may eat 3 oz. of white tuna once per month, or light tuna three times per month.
Children ages 6-12 may eat 4.5 oz. of white tuna twice per month, or light tuna four times per month.
You can go to http://www.edf.org and find more info on tuna/mercury as well. Light tuna is usually made from skipjack tuna. Albacore tuna has 3 times the mercury as skipjack tuna because it’s a larger tuna … and the larger the tuna, the more mercury it has in their bodies.
That’s what I was thinking! I still have cans left from a 6 pack I bought over a year ago 😂
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Times cooks get tough again. Good to have food stored for hard times ahead. Purchased the 48 cans!
Same here. I’m in Texas and we just went through that winter catastrophe. This helped us when the power was out for a week. Restocking.
Thank you. I got mine. It’s perfect for a quick lunch at work with some bagel seasoning and light mayo. This is a better deal than Aldi too.
Sounds yummy! You’re welcome, Blanca!
I add canned tuna to my cat’s food. Half Costco dry cat food and half canned tuna.
First time cat owner here so will appreciate guidance. Thanks
