Walgreens is more and more frustrating to shop lately. I tried to do this deal, the digital coupon didn’t come off so I didn’t buy it. Then I tried to do the Crest deal, didn’t work either, the coupons came off but the register reward didn’t print. They have so many restrictions with coupons, it’s so confusing.

Kristen there are two different deals going on with the Crest. There’s a deal where you earn MyWalgreens cash and there is a deal where you earn the Register Rewards. There is no mix and match in the varieties and most people don’t understand the difference between RRs and MyWalgreens cash. You MIGHT have got the MyWalgreens cash if you bought all 3 of the varieties that earn that deal. If you didn’t get the RRs I’m betting that you didn’t buy all 3 of the RRs varieties. Mix and match won’t work. I’d return. Go to chat with a rep and ask for the equivalent of the coupons in MyWalgreens cash and repurchase this time checking shelf tags and make sure all 3 are in the same deal.

Thanks for the advice! It just seems so complicated in the store when you’re making the purchase. 😁And frustrating when the razor deal didn’t work either. No idea why the digital coupon didn’t work on that one.

Yes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a situation quite like that. I don’t know why the digital didn’t work. You can click on a digital and see exactly what variety is supposed to work. Sometimes the newspaper coupons are easier. The P&G insert is the last Sunday of the month and you can use MyWalgreens cash to buy the newspaper.

I’ve had issues at Walgreens as well with coupons working and not working. I was told by my store that some coupons are designed online only. Since walgreens does pickup, if it doesn’t work in store I wait and order online with the item and coupon applies. They handle it on there end and I walk out with the item. Its a hassle but I still get the deal.

            Great tip!
