I have never been camping before but bought this to take to a music festival. I chose this one based on prior reviews, as rain was in the forecast. It did not let me down! It rained heavily on Saturday night and throughout Sunday, and everything inside stayed perfectly dry. It was also very simple to set up and tear down by myself. I fit a queen-size air mattress inside with room to spare, but I think this would be a tight fit for 4 people.
This is one GREAT TENT !!! I am able to put it up by myself in about five minutes !! It’s plenty roomy inside, and very sturdy, A major storm passed through destroying many campsites, but not mine. The only thing I would recommend is to buy better tent stakes. I bought the BIG METAL stakes with orange plastic heads, drove them into the ground next to the corners of my tent and tied the corners on with a heavy-duty parachute cord. My tent went nowhere!! . This is an awesome tent for the money!!
