      Thanks, LG! Happy Easter! 🤗

I did this deal last week and my $4RR did not print. The cashier told me to call crest and the manager said, sorry, nothing I can do. I’m so fed up with Walgreens! And I looked at my account online and all those times that I thought I was getting Walgreens cash back (whatever it’s called) I didn’t hardly get any!! Like on 10+ orders since November! I guess is my fault because it says “estimated cash rewards” on my receipt. 🙄 To me, that’s just false advertising!

I have had issues also. One thing to watch out for is that if you pay any amount of your bill with existing Register Rewards you will not receive any new Register Rewards on that order.

I am so sorry that you are having a bad experience. There is no way that the manager could make the RRs print but he could have helped in other ways. The Catalina that didn’t print can be fixed by calling 1-888-8 coupon and talking to the Catalina folks directly. I wish that Walgreens did not put estimated points out there. Those are calculated assuming that everything in the transaction was paid for by you totally out of pocket and most times it is not. On a deal where you must “spend” a certain $ amount what counts are only dollars that WAGS can put in the bank and that is your OOP dollars and MANUFACTURERS coupons because those are reimbursed. Unreimbused dollars such as Walgreens coupons, % off , store credit, Walgreens coupons, paying with points do NOT count toward the total because those aren’t profit dollars. Go out to YouTube, Facebook and Walgreens specific groups and learn more than I can tell you here. If you go to the help center at Walgreens.com and read through the question and answers that will help you as well.

I agree with you, that the “estimated cash rewards” is crap. I have also had points missing due to that. Usually if I ask them in store or online they will credit them, but there have been a number of times I have put in a pick up order and when I got there, they did not have the items in stock so then the purchase did not qualify for the promotion (i.e. $5 in points for a $20+ purchase, etc.). I am also very tired of it. They need to improve this feature because it is very frustrating. And to add insult to injury, when the items I tried to buy had load to card coupons, even though I didn’t get the items because they were OOS, the coupons that applied showed they were redeemed even though they were not so I could not try to purchase them at a different Walgreens. No items, no points, no coupons…..yeesh.

See my comment below. They have made changes to improve the store pickup experience. They can’t give you back the coupons but they will give you the equivalent in Walgreens cash. Chat online giving them your name, phone number on the account, and the transaction number. It is relatively painless. Now as to estimated points throw those out the window. My answer above to Cheri is abbreviated but is the main reason why you don’t get rewards. Calculate whether you have met the dollar threshold by adding together Oop that you actually paid and manufacturer’s coupons only. That is what rewards are calculated on. I understand your frustration. If I could sit down with you and look at the deals I could explain what went wrong but only because I have made every possible mistake there is with Walgreens myself. I truly wish you better luck.

Walgreens has a new feature for store pickup. You can now request “any brand” or “ same brand” substitutions and there is a space for comments where you could list substitutes you would prefer. This should be very helpful.

I wonder if the ibotta offer ended earlier than expected since it does not seem to be appearing on the app any more. My RR did not print, so I had to contact customer service. These days since covid, customers receipts have been going straight to the customer’s email, but no RR printed.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn. Those offers can vary by account. For the RR, if that did not print, you can always contact them to look into it for you – 1-888-8coupon. Hope this helps!

    • JD827

I believe you might have your account set to receive digital receipts only. In your account go to “notifications and settings” than “email” you can toggle this feature on and off depending on personal preference.

      • ifoundit

Yes, that’s happened to me with my account a month or two ago. I set mine to receive digital receipts thinking I would still get one at the register also, like Dollar General’s system does. Nope. Only got one online. So I went in and changed it back.

    • ifoundit

      My ibotta offer disappeared too.
