McDonald’s is Releasing A New Caramel Brownie McFlurry in May
McDonald’s celebrated National Caramel Day (a totally-made-up-national-food-holiday) by announcing the upcoming release of a brand new McFlurry flavor. The new Caramel Brownie McFlurry will feature McDonald’s’ creamy vanilla soft serve, brownie pieces, and caramel topping blended throughout.
“As our fans rejoice in the changing of the seasons, we’re excited to give them a new way to enjoy our most iconic dessert. In fact, the flavors in our new Caramel Brownie McFlurry are inspired by that first-warm-day-of-the-year feeling. The cool and creamy soft serve mixed with fudgy brownie pieces and sweet, gooey caramel makes every refreshing bite worth savoring.” – McDonald’s Chef Chad Schafer
Although this is the first time the Caramel Brownie McFlurry will be available at McDonald’s locations in the U.S., it was first sold back in 2017 in Canada – the birthplace of the McFlurry.
While this new McFlurry flavor sounds amazing, don’t speed off to your closest drive-thru quite yet. This frozen treat won’t be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants until May 3. After that, you should grab one while you can, because they’ll only be around for a limited time (or as long as supplies last)!

Ha ha ha! Yes! We just went on Sunday; they allowed us to order AND pay THEN at the second window we were told it was broken.
It’s never broken… they just cleaned it and don’t want to set it back up and reclean it… or it’s out of ice cream and they don’t want to reload it 🙄
Years and years ago I was an assistant store manager for McDonald’s. Was my first job. It absolutely is broken alllll the time. They need a ton of maintenance also. They go into heat mode at a set time also which means it’s also not usable during that time either. Running out of mix is not usually a big deal. You just pour a bag in. Cleaning them takes forever also which during that time you can’t buy ice cream then either. 😂😂 They are awful machines and McDonald’s needs to abandon them all and do something else. Many times we would have people pay for their ice cream and get to the window and oh darn the machine is broken and minutes ago it wasn’t. Or oh man it’s now in heat mode and isn’t supposed to be. Seriously terrible. This was like around 2005 so it’s kind of ridiculous they haven’t done anything about it permanently yet.
McDonald’s shouldn’t advertise a new product or any product if it can’t be delivered to the customers. Very poor business practice.
