Yeah, I researched a bit and gift cards aren’t taxed because you get taxed when you spend them. But maybe because it’s a gift code, it works differently. They are 10% off at Amazon instead of 5% at Target, so if you can spare the 5 minutes to open up an Amazon chat, it’s worth going through them. (And I also got them for my girls as an end of school year gift too, as they’ve both had amazing years!)
I didn’t get charged tax on these gift codes when I went through check out.
