Great machine! Found it on sale and I couldn’t be happier. Fast and easy to use. I have made cinnamon rolls to sourdough.

Love this bread maker. Word of caution – look up recipes on Google and don’t use the one in the book. I have made regular and sweet bread. I have also used it to mix and knead pizza crust.

Does anyone own this model and if so, is it easy to use? I’ve read that the book is not helpful and the recipes don’t come out right. Any truth to that? Thank you in advance.

Mary, I’ve been utilizing a bread maker for decades (I can’t knead to save my life). My first bread maker was a “Zo” (Zojurishi). I used it until it literally died. I tried an inferior model (was trying to save a few bucks), and it simply did not work as well as my Zo. The Zo costs more, no doubt, but it’s my go-to bread maker. I have the bread maker make the dough and then I take it out and back it in the oven. Also, it matters as well what flour you use (I’ve tried several). I only use Costco’s bread flour (or Sam’s Club bread flour if they have it in store as not all Sam’s sell it). Good luck.

Lisa, I just giving the zojirushi bread maker too. Had the west bend which works well. The zojirushi is better. You don’t even need to put warm water, just regular water and it does it all for you. If you can afford the zojirushi get that. I got mine at kohl’s using the 30% off saving me $102. Cost was around $230 before tax after the coupon. Best price online!!

I ordered this 2 days ago and it arrived this afternoon. I successfully had a banana walnut chocolate chip bread baking within a half hour of opening it! It was very easy but I used a recipe I found online. The book that comes with it is honestly pretty useless. But there are SO MANY recipes online! The bread was delicious and I can’t wait to make another loaf! 🍞

Does anyone make any keto recipes in these?

    • zee

Lisa, the zojirushi recipe book has the gluten free recipes with potato starch and brown rice flour. I baked them for my friends that need keto and paleo food. I used coconut oil instead of the oil they recommended. Turned out beautifully and delicious!!!
